Should I buy a lamborghini?

For the last few years i've been to scandanavia for my holidays, which is great and very relaxing, but, I miss a warm beach and the sea...

So, im just looking to go somewhere for 5 days to a week, but not somewhere that will break the bank.

hm

I am going to say no, you should not buy a Gallardo.

Friend posted this one in another forum as he is looking at the moment. First time one of these has really made me think about it. Never a fan of them really but another friend turned up in a grey SL at a social a few months back (the noise did it) and this just looks right to me and is a great colour....for a Lambo.

Was thoroughly disappointed in the Gallardos I was fortunate enough to play with at Vmax but then Shoebag (PH southwest member) took me out in her SL and my god that was a step up.

Someone I know had a black Gallardo and upgraded it to a Murcielago SV. Bright yellow. If you can afford it go for it :D. They are pretty loud though.

Probably best to ask on an owner's club, although I'd imagine they're all too busy speccing 4k tri sli gamer rigs.

Oh man......that is one seriously hideous interior. There is a bonus though, at least you can see they've tried to clean it :D

Same with me really. The normal ones have always done little for me, but the SL seems different. Odd as there is not a massive difference.

I've done quite a few laps in a Gallardo Balboni...rear wheel drive only certainly makes for a more entertaining drive as opposed to the standard 4 wheel drive

Gallardo is bad on UK roads in my opinion.

Worse ride quality than the GTR was, very cramped inside, killer servicing and maintenance.

Plus the pre LP models look very dated now.

With my "budget" I could have bought a used LP570 but I am glad I had a good drive first because unless you have perfect roads it is horrible. E-Gear is total crap also and good luck trying to find a used manual!.
Then if you do find a manual the pedal offset is nuts due to the wheel arches (really meant to be a LHD car).

Look at the R8 V10 with a manual gearbox and if you are over 6ft don't bother with the Spyder as the roof folding mechanism means it has 2" or so less leg room than the coupe.

One month until my R8 starts getting built :D and I am still happy with my choice over everything else up to ~130k ish.
