If they hadn't ruined it in the later seasons, I would have chosen Lost. Was genuinely excited when it was 'Lost day' each week.
 
Yes Minister & Yes Prime Minister.

Utterly brilliant comedy which is still as relevant to todays politics as it was when it was produced 30 years ago.
 
It changes all the time, dependent on what's out, what i've been watching lately, what i've forgotten about.

Older shows that are firm favorites: Oz, Babylon 5

Most recent show that's a current favorite...probably Vikings...can't fault it one little bit.

its about the only one i can rewatch (im watching it now!)
why i love it..
dark crossed with comedy. this almost never works with me, probably as the comedy is cheesy and rare
its so refreshing to have characters that are all flawed - its a very relatable cast
selfishness, egotistical, arrogant, irritable
i think all the cast are solid in general
i like the story arc
Just clicks i guess
still think the GFX look ok too

currently watching one where they switch bodies.. lol the acting on this one ..one of the too cheesy episodes!

others i can rewatch
SG1 and atlantis - generally solid throughout
red dwarf - unique

Others i liked but once only
BSG (new) - final series puts me off rewatch
Star treks - as much as i like star trek, there are too many fillers - especially TNG, it just doesnt make me want to rewatch. some episodes are very good
i actually think this with many of the films. massive ammounts of filler.
Generations and first contact. mostly not in space!

GoT

really disappointed with walking dead
GoT is opposite to walking dead
GoT = too much going on, too few episodes
TWD = too many episodes too little going on.. the second half of the last series was tedious at best

non sci fi
sothpark, but very hit or miss
simpsons fills the time but always repeats
big bang has actually grown on me
how i met your mother - gf likes this, i dont like most of the cast/characters
family guy and american dad are ok on tv, wouldnt buy tho
only fools and horses was good , dunno how well it dates

just saw hornblower on list by someone

this belongs in the rewatch category!
