AMD Radeon R9 295X2 to Get Promotional Price, Open to All

I'm pretty sure dual GPU's were meant to be cheaper than the sum of its parts at retail, take the 4870x2, it was cheaper than 2 1GB 4870's.

Even the 5970 was reasonable.

All of the ATI/AMD dual cards were cheaper than 2 of the singles until the launch of the 7990.

Shot in the dark Gibbo, is there any chance they would offer these without the AIO. 600-650 maybe with an EK block. For those of us that want to put into an existing WC rig. I would think the majority of "gamers" that would look at this would more than likely have water cooling already. Mind you the AIO cpu ones seem to be popular so maybe not.

That would compel me to grab one and give the 290x to my lad! he's begging for an upgrade from a 560ti :o

£649 - £699 and these will fly

I am not going back to AMD, the 290s I had were too much hassle, heat, noise, minor niggling issues in trifinity.

£600 - £650 and I'd probably buy 2 right away!

At £799, then maybe. If you can do the Sapphire ones with the metal box and Superflower PSUs for £799 then I might be tempted to get a couple of those to go with a Haswell-E system I haven't ordered yet.

600 and would likely buy one and shift two of my current cards to free up some slots.

Or go quad fire and have absolutely no free slots :D
