I preordered last week on the 27th on a different website for the UK due for release on september 1 and as soon as the order went through, it came up with a Stock Problem. Since no money was taken out of my account, I decided to cancel it and go with another website. This website had a preorder date for the 29th and there seemed to be no problem. But recently, they changed the product page and the preorder date has been changed to the september 4th :S

I can confirm there is no stock problem. Stock was always due for the first week of September - which is still the case (fingers crossed)
Some stock should land end of this week and all the stock should be with OCUK by the middle of next.

Thats good to hear, I've been checking the site everyday since Friday with no luck, hopefully I'll get my shiny new GT72 by the end of the week.

I've noticed on another website that they are now giving out the 15th as a release date, I hope this doesn't happen here.
Hopefully the resellers will have the laptops by tomorrow so I can receive mine some time next week. I was expecting to have mine by today
EDIT: Mine is apparently being dispatched today. Expecting it to arrive on Monday.
Where did you get your dispatch estimate from please? I've had one on pre-order since 14th August and was assured if they came into stock this week it would get dispatched but have heard nothing. I'm going to be very annoyed if there wasnt enough stock to cover my order as this would have been obvious from the amount of stock due in vs pre-order quantities.
Which model did you order please?
**EDIT** ah I guess you ordered yours from the *other* reseller, looks like I backed the wrong horse

I ordered the cheapeast dominator pro the gt72 018UK model. DPD has the laptop now and will be delivering on Monday. It's weird though that the reseller I bought it from changed their preorder availability dates from august 29 to september 4 then september 5 and now it just says coming soon. I've called them up twice this week, so I think it's a good idea to keep in contact with the reseller and hopefully they will prioritise your preorder
I have kept in regular contact with OcUK, unfortunately they seem incapable of managing their supply chain well enough to get accurate information to their customers. It's somewhat galling they have had £1600 of my money for 3 weeks and I still have no idea when I'm going to get what I've paid for. Very disappointed.

Good news, I've just rang OCUK's and my new GT72 has been despatched and will arrive tomorrow, Thursday.
