HMS Duncan by the sound of things. We've had a Blackhawk going over Crosskeys, one of the Presidential ones.

Should have a couple of pics to post of two ships I found and police ribbed boat. No aircraft tho :( apart from a paraglider. Hoping something passes but I bet there done for the day

5 jets flew over in formation at 7:45am and a few choppers. Most notably one at 4pm as I was leaving the hospital.

Some dozy old bint almost walked on to oncoming traffic looking up at the sky :D

Also, we had a bomb scare at one of our sites. Can't say which.

Apparently there is a Norwegian Skjold class corvette on its way. Look interesting.
 
NATO Air Exercise today

There will be an Air Exercise today above Newport (Celtic Manor in the main), but may well touch on Cardiff because it involves low-flying jets.

The exercise will start at approximately 3.30pm and will apparently last for approximately 30 minutes.
 
All the foreign aircraft involved in this are currently hanging out where I'm based. They keep borrowing our tools as well!

The Polish didn't come very well equipped put it that way :D
 
What they forget to mention is the 2500+ entourage he's bringing.

I say no more ;)
 
Just had a drive through Newport, motorwards and roads are particulaly quiet so not sure what all the fuss is about, obv schools probably closed and people working from home where they can.

Some protesting going on Newport though, people in masks holding banners, and some people with dreadlocks, usual type :p
