Just came up on my Sky News App!

At the minute they're not saying much and not saying whether it had any terrorist motives. I would be surprised if it didn't.

http://news.sky.com/story/1330204/reports-man-held-after-woman-beheaded

A man has been arrested after a woman was found beheaded in a back garden in north London, according to reports.

The victim was found at an address in Nightingale Road, Edmonton just after 1pm.

Scotland Yard gave few details but said that a man is in custody.

The force said: "Police were called to an address in Nightingale Road at 13.07pm today to reports of a stabbing incident.

Plenty of people were beheaded before it became the terrorists favourite tv pastime, seems like a hell of a jump to just decide it probably is terrorist terry and his mates.

not saying whether it had any terrorist motives. I would be surprised if it didn't.

But they are saying;

There is no suggestion that the killing had any terrorist motive.

Disgusting none the less :(. At what point does it seem like a good idea to remove someone's head .

Bets on race or religion anyone? I know some will bet :D.

Location is London and the method of using a knife to behead pretty much summs up all we need to know. There is a 99.9% chance of this being Islamic or done by recent immigrants.

Get used to it the more that come in to replace the average Brit the more this will be in the news.

Perhaps it was a bit of a knee jerk reaction on my part. Maybe 'I wouldn't be surprised if it was' would be more appropriate. From what's happened in the past week, it's possible.

I think 'plenty' of beheading's is a bit misleading though.

These things happen. There was a kid in Castle Douglas when i lived down there donkeys years ago who chopped off his dads head and started kicking it down the street. Thankfully i didn't see it.

I'm not sure why people are instantly assuming the religion of peace and tolerance was involved in this one... the article already says its not thought to be terror related.

sounds more like a sick murder... its happened in suburbia rather than Tower Hamlets too....

(possibly an 'honour killing'? Possibly just a psycho...)

RIP :(

But Shaw of the BBC has said just now "Police say it's "too early" to say if there was a terrorist motive & don't yet know if victim and suspect were known to each other."

Have you ever been to Edmonton? Suburbia it ain't.

After turning a blind eye to child sex abuse for decades out of fear of being labelled racist I don't exactly trust the police when it comes Islamic crime.
