Yawn more whacko-bird bait. You pay for the care of all these murderers and explain to the family then right? I get the feeling you are a very naive kid who posts first and thinks second.
 
If it does turn out to be a mentally ill person then WE as a society has failed the victim NOT the mentally ill person, he can't help being messed up in the head.
His also unlikely to have suddenly woken up this morning and become instantly insane, more likely he has been showing serious signs of being disturbed for quite some time.

Better training and more funding for mental illness services is what will help reduce cases like this if it turns out to be a mentally ill individual (personally I think it's almost impossible for a sane person to de-capitate another human-being!!)

Surely both have been failed?

If you get to the point where you're removing heads, that would suggest you've not been getting the help you require.
 
Of course the mentally ill person is also a victim, I though that went without saying:confused:

*edit* yeah I worded that badly, what I was trying to say was that we as a society are to blame for the murder not the mentally ill individual. He too as you correctly pointed out was also failed by society and also a victim.

I'm afraid I misread the highlighted bit in my previous post. I read it as you saying we, as society, had NOT failed the mentally ill person, rather than it not being the mentally ill person who had failed the victim.
 
Do we know if they are mentally ill though? They might just be naturally psychopathic. :rolleyes:
