AMD Radeon R9 295X2 to Get Promotional Price, Open to All

It's frustrating.
Nvidia have managed to implement it in a recent driver albeit at a reduced colour level.

To be fair both teams are not yet shouting about 4k.
Hopefully next gen cards will fulfil our needs.
So, actually I will probably skip the 295x2 even at 600.

However it might come in useful if I grab a few display port monitors for when Project Cars arrive. My G27 is waiting patiently for that game!

I don't know what planet you have been living on for the last year but both nvidia and amd have been bragging about 4K for almost a year (maybe more) - a long time before monitors where even slightly affordable.

Limited stock as it would seem the price drop in USA to $999 has not actually happened or those advertising such price have no stock and AMD saying its not official.

I should admit that I won't be buying one anyway - I'm okay at 4K with my 780 Ti and my next step will probably be a pair of video cards with 6GB+ VRAM - I don't expect to be buying a 4 GB 980.

Seems that AMD did a limited stock deal then in the USA with select partners.

We are AMD's UK select partner, deal goes live tomorrow, HANG ON! :D

We have sold three today at £1079.99 so we are predicting to sell 100 in a matter of days. The price shall be less than a pair of 290X. :eek:
