Kinda hit a wall with my GRift progression as barb :/

Can't get any better gear, I'm pretty much BiS in all areas, paragon is reasonably high at 553, but most rift guardians can 2-3 shot me with their abilities and some of them are just ridiculously hard to kill.

37 rifts feel comfortable (less than 30% failure rate) but I can't seem to do 38, the damage is just too insane.
 
Is Kadala being a bit tight fisted with anyone else?

I was doing fairly well with around 1 set piece (even if it wasn't the one I wanted :p ) from 500 shards.

Around 3k shards spent and not even a legendary out of her.

Trying to gear my Wiz with firebirds, two pieces to go (boots and source) and I'm getting nowhere fast!

Ignoring naysayers for a second, did you roll for Kadala items in games where Boots and Sources dropped?

I didn't but then again I didn't on my DH when I managed to gear that toon to full Marauders over a weekend.

I tend to play with my DH and then spend shards with Wiz.

Did the same with WD to gear my DH.

It doesn't need to be that specific set item that drops in the game, just an item classed as Boots or Source.

For instance you could have Ice Climbers drop, and roll for Marauder Treads and Sabatons of Akkhan on the respective chars.

I use the diabloprogress inbuilt calculator in the profile. Is there better ones?

Can I swap characters and do this or does this apply only in the game I'm in?

I will try anything if it increases my chances! :)

Got a link to your profile? I am still trying to get some of the final pieces to really push my progression. Just last night I got the final pieces to complete a Vile Charge build, so maybe I can push it a little further than my current high of 30.

Thanks. That is some nice gear you have. Maybe I will be able to push further now I have my Vile Wards. They did not roll brilliantly but they should hopefully make a difference. When I did GR 30 it was with Raekor's / IK as I had never seen the Raekor's helm or chest.

I do have some Strongarms but it looks like I logged off with the Nemisis still on.

Was looking at a friends profile on battlenet and the chest slot he was wearing had a couple of symbols top left and right of the chest pic. Anyone know what that is?

wait a sec i got it on my own profile as well. must be what it been transmorphed to perhaps?

Definitely. Your gear should be good enough for 34 at least. You should aim for a better belt, as the 2 seconds you're missing on Ignore Pain there can be crucial.
 
Does anyone know anything about fixed loot tables in this game? I've always suspected something was going on despite Blizz seemingly denying it.

Anyway just now I killed a rift guardian and it dropped 2 x legendary boots. Identified them and they are both Fire Walkers. Weird I thought, what are the chances? Then I immediately went to Kadala and spent about 100 blood shards on boots. Guess what, Fire Walkers again. Very suspicious. Could be a coincidence but seems extremely unlikely.

Beware. People of the Internet fight to the death regarding RNG/loot table nonsense.

RedvGreen/Foo - He is our resident nutcase. He tries to make sense of it. He was even taking notes and doing sums about it at one point. But he is totes a nutter, and he is rubbish. So it's up to you if you want to listen to him and his loot table theories.

I'm a firm believer of loot tables. Since I tend to play in long sessions rather than in little bites, I notice it more.

Often I will get repeats of items, double/triple of the same legendary in just a couple hours. All of this is in the same game, I don't log out during.

There has been talk of a list of 5 million gmail addresses which have been leaked (possibly with passwords).

Best thing to do would be log into your battle.net account and pick a new password, then change your gmail password and set up 2 step authentication if you haven't already.
