Ordered silver and grey as I couldn't decide. Email confirmation says 29th September - 2nd October, that standard or did I miss out on the first batch that will arrive next Friday?
 
People should post when their order moves to processing and what time they got their first order confirmation email.
 
I had to give up waiting and leave for work which means when I did finally get to order (08:52) I think I missed out on initial stock as it's showing: Dispatched: 3 - 4 weeks :(

Ordered the 6 Plus 64GB in grey.

Yeah, this is the thing with smartphones these days, they're less phones and more just mobile interwebz connected devices. iPods etc are slowly dying (RIP Classic) and holding these sort of things up to your head will become less commonplace next - you can already use the headphones w/the built in mic, you'll be able to use the Watch etc.

Indeed. I make less than ten calls a month. The reason I went for the 6 Plus was to bridge the gap between the iPhone 5 that I have now and the iPad Mini that I bought at launch and sold a year later, which was better than the iPhone 5 for almost all the things I do.
 
Finally got on just before 9am. Ordered iphone 64gb grey - 29th - 3rd oct delivery.

Did you have to get on the site before 8.30 (somehow) to get a delivery of 19th?

If I cant get on with the iphone 6 ill return it. Expect i'll have no problem selling it before october either
 
Delivery date came up as 2nd october for me on a space grey 64gb plus so i reserved one at my local apple store and selected a time slot.

last time i did this (ip4 release) they had 2 lines. One for the tools who got up at 3 am and an empty line for people who reserved with a few clicks online.

hope this is the case again

That makes me feel marginally better!

I could go via CPW or Phones4U but I dislike those companies due to the volume of sales and rubbish calls they dish out, plus I would like the double 4g speed and EU inclusive calls tariff which you can only get direct from EE

And with the Watch, if people do go down that route, there's less need to have the thing in your pocket (easier to hear/feel alerts than when in a bag or coat pocket) since you'll be tapped on the wrist and the need to get the thing out when walking around etc is minimised for all but lengthy replies, which again lessens the need for one-handed use on the bigger device.
