Got my preorder in for the 4.7 inch, 64gb space grey. Got a decent wait until early October but just glad I don't have to faff about in a store to get one.

I see, next question, what the hell is vodaphone doing not offering a plan with all you can eat data ? No wonder NO ONE is buying off them !! Christ this was standard on phones 2-3 years ago, with data in constant use these days its pointless getting any data limited contract.

Do any other company apart from 3 offer unlimited 4G? I didnt think so

I think vodafones problem is their cheapest monthly tariff with 4G on the site is £48. And you can't choose how much data you pay for either

No option to pay any less and being forced to pay for data you won't use is putting people off.

I've used about 500mb this month, absolutely no need for me to have a 8gb or 5gb tariff.

what do you guys do that uses so much data?

I've been on 1gb for ages and sometimes go over so ive gone up to 2gb.

I will add im on Wi-Fi all day at work and when at home

Some people aren't sure which size they want so plan to return one.

Yep. I think I'll be keeping the 6+, have already got a workmate who will buy the 6 off me for retail price, and even if he doesn't I can either a) return it b) be a mercenary and sell it on eBay for profit because there are people who want the phone on release day even if it they have to pay above said retail price.

Selling rather than returning also benefits me because I paid on my John Lewis credit card, so more spent on it = more points = more JL vouchers. I swap the vouchers with my mum for cash as she buys from there far more than me.

4G is faster than wifi - or my wifi at least. Download raye on my wifi is ~250kbps. On 4G hotspot i have managed 2mbps before and generally get around 800kbps

is it just me or is it only 100 odd quid more getting a contract than buying the phone outright?

Can be on certain deals, I'd still rather not have that going out each month and just pay it up front though. I was tempted to do it on contract this year but I like the flexibility of being on giffgaff

I stream a lot of stuff, Music, Netflix, also since i have 4G and its typically faster then most coffee shops I will just use it. Once you get used to just downloading everything when you need it, its hard to go back to the days where I would wait home before I downloaded a new game.

from experience you go in they sit you down and ask what you reserved.

They then go off and fetch it and go through the motions.

The apple store can do the upgrade or just sell you the phone. If your upgrading they go through the process on an iMac with you etc etc.

When i was a contract man they did open the phone for me yes.

Thanks its mostly cause the misses would like us to meet up after work and open them up together.

Spotify on the go, also watch videos here there and everywhere.
Doesn't really matter to me as i'm with 3 and you REALLY have to be drinking data for them to kick up a fuss, which has never happened to me.

I'm talking unlimited mins texts and around 4GB data

Sim only Vodafone Red £27 4GB Unlimited Unlimited 6 months iphone 6 £539

Yeah but you'd have to be mental to pay Vodafone's sim only prices. Three, giffgaff and Tesco are much much cheaper.
