Total £979 for £15 a month (24 month) with 3 (5000 text, 500 mins and unlimited 4G including tethering) for the 64gb iphone

Is any company offering similar to the above for ~£40? (No up front cost)

Surely would have been better to buy phone outright and get a virgin media VIP unlimited everything for 18 per month sim only?

Don't have the capital to do that especial since we're going to be moving after only being here 14 months. The option would've been to get a 0% for 18 months credit card, but we have 2 already on top of normal cards for similar reasons.

So we have an O2 mast 200 metres away and the tesco deals look great. Is there a downside to them if they use the O2 network?

No cost upfront and £45 per month for the 64gb iPhone 6 seems unbeatable doesn't it?
They're fine apart from no visual voicemail, they piggyback off the masts but must have their own infrastructure maybe?

The Virgin deal that gives you everything unlimited for £18 a month seems to rely on you having a TV & broadband package with them. Sky's the only thing available where I live, so no dice :(

i went for the 64gb plus on o2 refresh cost me 450 200 of that was to get out of my plan, unlimited mins and txts and 2gb data, 38 a month ,not happy with what they done though 7-10 days to get to me from release, i wasn't told that until they had changed the website like 5 times.

Thanks to everyone for putting up details about total commitment. It's convinced me NOT to get an iPhone 6. I'll switch to an all inclusive tariff and stick with my iPhone 5. Difference will pay for a decent two weeks abroad.

Had a fright earlier when I checked my order on the Apple site and it said there had been a problem with the card authorisation, no email though!

Phoned the bank and they cleared it, just hope it's not put me back down the queue.

Thanks for posting that

I am on The One Plan , and am coming up to 2 years on it - 24 month contract in a few weeks.

How much will I have to pay for an upgrade to the Iphone 6 ?

Got to admit I'm sick and shocked at the poor prices. Had a 2hrs wait and long chat with EE today about my upgrade. Basically 43.99pm and £89.99 up front. **ss take

Probably just go with HTC M8 now :( ,,, going to loose all my App Store items now. I'm just not paying that.

Despite two major embarrassments for Apple this week (messed up live stream and non availability of Apple Store at various times during this mornings I6 launch). Apple are reporting record demand for their handsets with many regions now having to wait between 3/4 weeks for the I6 plus model (production difficulties, limiting supplies) and 7/10 days for the standard I6 model.

Considering doing the same. I can get the HTC for about £32 a month which is a big difference over two years. Just trying to convince myself that I can live with android!
