I don't care for bleeding edge specs in a phone, but I wish they'd bump the pityful 1.2MP front facing camera, to something a bit more.... current.

I'd settle for the same 2MP camera in the Galazy S5. At least that is a standard part which supports 1080P! Other than that, I've never had an issue with the performance of the camera on the iPhone.

Christ. Iphone 6 64gb going for upto £900 at the moment on ebay! Some are listed at £1500!!

Apparently the most pre orders ever taken. The store I got mine booked in to collect on 19th are now all unavailable.

Whatever you say about Apple / Apple products, thats damned good marketing!

Your smug style of posting is really irritating. You have no idea why I bought an iPhone, any attempts to explain why have been ignored as irrelevant, and you still won't shut up about how because someone has an iPhone that they overpaid for it or must regret the cost somehow.

You have added nothing to this thread.

For what it's worth I've never regretted an Apple purchase. Maybe the high quality combined with the pre-purchase research I do counts for something?

I'll spell it out for you - some people find certain aspects in items they buy desirable, and are prepared to part with money to achieve this. For some reason you totally fail to see this point.

Don't feed the troll.

Looking at his user notes, he's been given a previous infraction for trolling in the Apple subforum. You've both stated your points and I think it's fair to say, neither of you is going to agree.

Please RTM any further posts, instead of derailing the thread :)

I'm half-tempted to list my 128GB 6 for £1000 BIN and wait a few weeks

Why half tempted? Assuming you don't get done over by eBay's love of siding with the buyer and the various fees, waiting a few weeks for the phone pays for a fair chunk of your contract.

If you can find a buyer and do a cash deal then you're winning.

Half tempted because I want the phone for myself :D:p

I've never had issues with scammers on ebay (this includes selling a Mac Pro for £3000 cash on collection), but there's something too good to be true about those auctions.

Something tells me that they are being shill-bid up to artificially inflate the prices. Well, I at least hope so!

One thing I have noticed about these eBay things is that you have to be prepared to offer shipping to Europe etc as it's not only 'must have it now, price irrelevent' who want to buy them, it's people in EU countries where it's not being released on the 19th who want to be able to have one before anyone else.

So my friend had the iPhone 6 and 6+ printed out on foam board and both phones stick out of the back pocket now. First world problems eh.

Out of interest folks, has anyone here ordered any case/gel/silicone protective casing from eBay from any of these cheapy/cheerful sellers for their iPhones?

Im tempted to buy a transparent silicon/gel protective cover...

I got one of these for my iphone 5 when I first bought it. After it little while it lost it's shape and wasn't as snug as it should be. This meant little bits of dirt and grit got in and I ended up with scratches and little nicks all over the back and bezel :( lesson learned.
