I don't think I'll ever get my head around how many of these they can build each week, and the amount of work involved in ensuring that the component parts are always in stock but without having to keep loads of items on shelves.

It will all be done with computer systems automatically ordering required stock and getting it delivered just in time (JIT).

So I've been into CPW today and ordered the 6 64GB version with EE.

Apparently they have more stock than they have ever had as it has merged with a bigger company (can't mention on here due to competitors) so they pretty much guaranteed it being available to collect on Friday!

Yep, that's one more store I can strike off my list of those I am prepared to give my custom to.

I'm curious about your opinion if you'd be willing to do a quick post in a week or so after you've had time to play.

Had a chance to try the 5s now since leaving the S5.

Dropped calls and signal issues so far, other than that it's great.

Switching from three to EE to see if it fixes anything.

The numbers of machines making the steel band around the iphone 4 were breathtaking, I heard that Foxcon were buying 800 fanuc robodrills (CNC machine costing about $62k each) a month for I don't know how long to make that part alone. So a factory with say 8000 cnc machines making just that bit? Mind=blown

 Welcome to the past 40 years of consumer capitalism?

I don't really care about that, the capabilities and demands of just 10 of those machines, let alone the logistics of 8000 of them at full tilt is mindblowing to me as somebody who runs a business with 16 CNC's

Yes but let's have some honesty please. Many many Apple die hards, some of them on here harangued and ridiculed owners of larger handsets saying they looked absolute tools, pratt's etc. Suddenly they are cool and OK when it's Apple. What did SJ have to say on the subject.

Some of you posters have more neck than a giraffe.

You should hang your heads in shame.

Bloody hell calm down cupcake, it's just a bloody phone. I swear some people get too carried away with this fanboy nonsense.

As for the size of the iPhone, I've always wanted a larger screen so not sure what your problem is. The size of the S5 was about the kind of size I thought was ideal but hadn't seen the Samsung Note so didn't know how big that was.
