Have you got a source for this? If this is true, I'll be going to Three as well

3. To protect your data experience, even during the busiest hours of the day, we will add the following Traffic Flow measures to all of our unlimited data goodybags:

a) Where members are using more than their fair share of network resource during the busiest hours, a 300 kilobits per second (kbps) restriction will be introduced for the remainder of the peak period. This speed will ensure that members are able to use the internet but with less impact on other members.
b) A peer to peer speed restriction of 100 kbps during peak hours will also be introduced for these members.

Dunno where 3GB allowance came from though.

How much stock will Apple Stores have on launch day? Since I have no joy in try to reserve one online. I do not fancy getting up early, standing in line for ages to be told no stock.

Sounds like these restrictions and speeds will only be enforced on those using a high amount of data. The worrying thing I guess is what they are calling a "high amount of data".

At the end of the day, with Three you're getting:

  • Decent Abroad roaming with 'Feel at Home'
  • Actual 4G Coverage
  • Not awful 3G coverage
  • Up to 4GB tethering

For the same price, but a 12 month contract. £15pm.

Unfortunately, unless you're willing to get up early, I wouldn't hold your breath. The few launches I went to for the earlier models, the lines were massive. You might get lucky on a few stores, but I'd imagine day one stock will be gone pretty early

Very true, the only thing that has stopped me doing it sooner is the poor indoor signal in my area, it's almost non-existent

Unless you are prepared to get models that not many people want, like the 6+ 128G in Gold.

I suspect the ip6 16/64G white will be sold out first.

So just been on the phone to MBNA (credit card team) and they have said they can't cancel any payment as it has not gone through, it is currently 'pending' so they have to wait until phones 4 u either take payment (and don't deliver goods) or cancel the order from their end.

Either way, as it was bought on a credit card, there is full protection.

It all depends on how you consume your media. 16GB is enough if you stream music or only listen to 10 albums like my Mum.

Me? I'm old school and started off with a 20GB iPod 10+ years ago so I've got lots of purchased iTunes music over the intervening years. I need a minimum 32GB, so the extra is a bonus for what appears a reasonable price.

Just received my spigen tough armour case for the 6, after seeing how big the case is I'm SO glad I never went for the plus! The plus would be like trying to for an iPad mini in your pocket!

I've got a works iPad 16gb, no music, no videos and maybe a hundred images, 2gb free space left. If I took a longish video now I'd be getting quite close to the limit, if it was an iPhone and I installed a satnav it'd be full
