FIFA 15

with the UT edition you get a few other things such a couple more celebrations, classic kits, Messi on loan for 5 games and the All star team. (obviously the extra packs too) So yeah basically just extra packs :)
 
Really not that pumped for this years FIFA. Last years FIFA was so bad it has drained all my normal enthusiam. Need to clear my head and judge this one objectively!
 
I really hope they dont "handicap" the players. I spent stacks of cash, played loads of games and a cheap 15k team played way better and felt better than any 1mill team i ever made.

A large part of that "handicapping" you describe is in your head - I played with a team for well over 300 games which costs buckets more than a million coins (Ronaldo, Ibra and Bale hybrid) and it was one of my favourite teams across all the FIFAs except for the game just being generally quite bad. You've spent tonnes on a team so you're expecting miracles and don't play the game the same way you do with a team where there's no expectations. A lot of people do the same so it's not just you :p.

Where I believe handicapping does exist is when you go over a certain team rating (probably 85/86). 84 and under I personally found no difference but I know I'm playing the same irrespective of the team I'm using. Then you've got in game momentum to contend with as well...

Still not sure whether to go standard or UT edition.

After a couple of weeks 1 gold pack a week is kind of useless. If you got 40 to open on release then it would be worthwhile.
 
Look at it in terms of how much coins you're going to get back from the free packs. 2000 per pack at best really if the player weights are similar to last year.

Probably will be! That and defenders falling over after simple lofted through balls, players with 80+ passing being unable to accurately pass 5 yards, David Silva being unable to control anything ever and 5'6 players out jumping Hummels at corners but apart from that I'm looking forward to it. :p

Certainly gutsy, I still think it should have been removed a while back and agreed (player to player) loans possible with the player being untradeable to the receiver, maybe even a certain amount of cash halted etc.. but ah well! :)
 
Basically if you want the top players now you're gonna need to spend a fortune or have extreme luck early on. EA will be loving the amount they make this year. Some of the top youtubers have already spent thousands loading up on FIFA points ready for the 15 web app.

Personally think there should be laws against DLC, it's getting pretty ridiculous how most are now making more from it than the game itself. Yet the games are getting worse or not progressing in the slightest.

I have the xboxone UT edition pre-ordered and will play it to death in my spare time but was gutted with my first game on the demo , beat my 10 yr old son 5-3 , all 3 of his goals were balls over the top from a kick off.

Hoped that would be sorted, i do actually prevent it quite well on 14 by getting control of a defender asap and running deep which i didn't try to do against him as i wanted to see if the glitch was still there.

Looking forward to it now although i will be sad to lose my 14 ultimate team as for the first time ever i have a little money , not much compared to many but my players are worth nearly 3m . Never been close to that amount before !
 
I just bought £60 Xbox credit for £48 off G2A, which means I'll get the Ultimate Edition digitally with £1.51 to spare :)

Does anyone know if cards pulled in Ultimate Edition packs can be traded?
