This is exactly what I was saying earlier about Apple using other brands for their advantage. The fact is Apple needs companies like Samsung making ****loads of random things, but Samsung doesn't need Apple at all except to remind them not to go too advanced and keep things simple. It's not hard to keep things simple you know.
I didn't say an Audi is as prestigious as a Lamborghini.
I said an Audi V10 was used in the Lamborghini and the S8. This is in acknowledgement of the fact that the technology in Apple products is not from the future or superior. It's just how they're put together that differentiates a saloon from a sports car.
What I'm saying is people shouldn't analogise the iPhone as a £160,000 Ferrari and a samsung as a £30,000 Skoda.
Rather a £100,000 Porsche and an £80,000 SLK.
“The goal with the SLK was to make it more agile, so the result is more stiffness in the suspension,” says Mercedes’ senior manager for driving dynamics, Rudiger Rutz.
“We’re trying to get closer to the Boxster. [But] it’s difficult to reach. It’s another concept [in terms of handling]. We try to reach the [BMW] Z4 and I think it’s comparable. But Z4 is still stiffer and offers less comfort.
When it comes to technology most people prefer simple. And Apple also prefers simple. Which is why I can understand why a lot of people like Apple. But I'm not "most people" and simple to me is just that, simple, not "easier to use" or the many other reasons why people think Apple's simpler products mean they're automatically worth more money just because they're simple.

Well no. I said "what does a V10 Lamborghini do that a V10 Audi S8 can't"Actually thats is exactly what you said. You didn't say the V10 in a Lamborghini. lol.
..and you're doing it again, comparing a SLK as same desirability as Porsche. Not to mention is a flawed analogy even for cars, the Porsche Boxster being one of the best handling mid engine cars. Lets quote Mercedes...

Give it up. You're just digging a deeper hole.
To make things complicated is simple. To make complicated things simple, that's complicated.
You're making the mistake of thinking because something is easy. Its not complicated.
Well no. I said "what does a V10 Lamborghini do that a V10 Audi S8 can't"
Then you're the one who thought that translates to Audi being as prestigious as Lambo. Not me....
It...A better thing to ask is what does a V10 Lamborghini do that a V10 Audi S8 can't? They are similar at the heart and both prestigious, ...
It's relevant to the purpose of simplification/complication.
For purposes of UI operation, simplifying from an initially complicated state is not hard to do. Think about CLI vs Windows GUI. To implement the base CLI functions themselves is the hard part. To implement a button which relays a CLI function in the form of a simplified click is not hard to do.
Er....
Thats an echo down there... there... there...

Well at the end of the day, I said an S8 with a V10 engine and a Lambo are "both prestigious".
You were claiming I said "Audi is as prestigious as Lambo" which suggests I'm saying an Audi A1 is as prestigious as a Gallardo. Which I know you know is quite frankly BS.
S8s are very expensive cars and they do carry an amount of prestige whether you like it or not. Doesn't mean everything has the same amount of prestige, like dare I say, in an Apple lover's technologically dull world![]()
Yknow what, I am so sorry for bringing up the car analogy... As the person who started it, can I finish it as of now please? Thanks.![]()
You are trying to compare dissimilar things as if they are the same. Which suggests you can't see how they are different.
Somehow one company turning a profit is greed, but its not for another company. Bizarre.
But not clever enough to spell correctly.![]()

Out of interest how many Android phones have each of you owned...![]()
