I also have an iPhone 4 16GB and did a backup and restore last night and it freed up 3GB and now runs a bit more smoothly. Suggest you try that before deciding if you need the upgrade. Might be better to have the home button replaced than replacing the phone.

Exactly. I also have the iPhone 4 and it was so slow that when typing the text would appear several seconds after hitting the keys. Terrible.

I simply uninstalled all unnecessary apps and it was back to normal. The best method would be a true full reset and installing only essential apps.

EDIT: iOS8 out too.

EDIT2: Have tracking number, tried on UPS/Uk Mail, haven't worked so not sure what's going on.

O2 fobbed me off. with not doing it instore and doing it online ... then they changed the date so its 2 - 3 weeks after and its to late. after it was done, very ****ed

Whilst I'm not getting one, I did manage to have a play with an iPhone 6 at work today :D

The amount of depth that the camera sticks out really irks me, when I know if Apple weren't so obsessed with making every new phone thinner than the last one, they could have kept the back flush and used the extra space for a bigger battery.

Its a bit odd why the screen cannot be 1080p and better DPI on the iPhone 6...

Galaxy S4 - 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm, 130g
5inch Full HD Super AMOLED
1920 x 1080 display, 441 ppi

iPhone 6 - 138.1 x 67.0 x 6.9 mm, 129g
4.7-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit widescreen Multi‑Touch display with IPS technology
1334x750-pixel resolution at 326 ppi

Or is 3mm a bit difference in width?

Yep, mine too. Huzzah.

Does everyone's just say its by Syncreon? Or has anyone got UPS and a proper tracking number?

"SYNCREON PARCEL" here, showing as dispatched 13th September.

This article from the iPhone 5 launch suggests putting the Syncreon tracking number in the UK Mail website. No idea if that's valid this year but doesn't seem to work (yet?) for either number on UK Mail or UPS.
