Two questions.
Is anyone's silent switch loose? Moves about quite a lot when I move my thumb over it.
Does anyone's timer show on their lockscreen correctly with 12 hour clock enabled? Seems like this but has been around forever for me.

A couple of people have reported dodgy data figures with EE I think...

What do people think about Apple Care?

£79 gets you 2 years hardware coverage, during which you can claim for accidental damage twice at an excess of £55.

I don't think it covers you for theft or loss though, like a 3rd party insurance plan would.

I'm kind of worried that these larger screens will break easier when dropped, the first few drop test vids I've seen don't seem to rate ruggedness highly.

Yep. My silent button feels a bit loose.

12 hour clock mine shows 9.53. Seems fine

Guest2. Upload the time lapse here please. I want to see how good it is. I plan on doing the Sky.

You'll be at that one a while then :D.

I know what you mean though I'm waiting for a clear night to see how the camera does. My iPhone 5 used to struggle with stars against a black background(well not that it would be any other colour :D).

At least you can see stars. I'm surrounded by giant yellow floodlights in city centre!

I used to live much closer to town as lovely as it was I never felt peaceful. Now I'm in a more "upmarket" area I can relax in the garden and only hear the distant m4. Street lamps are still a huge issue :(.

If my app business takes off well enough I fully intend on moving to the countryside. At the moment my electrical buisness that supports me kind of relies on other houses being nearby :D.

We can all dream :).

Can someone else with a 6/6+ do me a favour please, trying to work out whether this is a bug or me specifically.

Using the photos app open a photo that is sharp & in focus; ideally a photo you've taken with the 6/6+.
Zoom in as far as it'll allow and take note of how sharp the photo is. Now tap share, scroll along the bottom row of the action sheet and tap use as wallpaper.
It should be zoomed in to the same area, but if not zoom in again as far as possible.
Do you notice it is significantly lower quality and far less sharp at the same level of zoom? Regardless of whether perspective zoom is on or off.

Thanks!

Cheers guys. Bit annoying, will raise as a bug with apple and with any luck it'll be fixed in a release or two.

EDIT: Raised as a bug with Apple. Have also noticed it is not just the 6/6+ but every test device I have on iOS 8 including iPads suffer the same issue.

There's quite a few weird glitches/bugs in ios 8. I'm not sure if it's been like that for previous 1st releases as I've had a habit of waiting for the x.0.1 version.

For example;
Safari address bar merges into the signal/time/battery bar above.
Videos sometimes require a reload to play.
Cursor in this post quick reply box hangs outside the box when returned.

These are the only ones springing to mind but I'm sure there's more.
