Looks like CPW have stock quicker than expected - just got a dispatch email from them for a 64G 6+ which I ordered last Monday. Was originally told 12th Oct at the earliest, so well chuffed!

Based on our extensive Lab tests and measurements, the iPhone 6 Plus is the Best performing Smartphone LCD display that we have ever tested. It delivers uniformly consistent all around Top Tier display performance. The iPhone 6 Plus is only the second Smartphone display (LCD or OLED) to ever get all Green (Very Good to Excellent) Ratings in all test and measurement categories (except for Brightness variation with Viewing Angle, which is the case for all LCDs) since we started the Display Technology Shoot-Out article series in 2006, an impressive achievement for a display. The iPhone 6 Plus has raised the bar for top LCD display performance up by a notch.

I even made sure I set up as new. Did you change any settings? I've tinkered with settings for atleast an hour trying to get as much battery out as possible

All my settings carried over from my old iPhone 5 (I double checked anyway). I've all the background tasks turned off (email checks, background app refresh, etc). Bluetooth is turned on for my car kit.

Took mine down to 2% today

10 hours usage
1 day 12 hours standby

No point comparing though because everyone uses their phone differently. I have half brightness, manual fetch email, use 4g for safari, facebook and other apps. 2 or 3 hours music, a few photos and messing with time lapse and slow motion video

Someone else may have lowest brightness, wifi browsing and that's it. Someone else may have full brightness and play games for hours etc.

Got my iPhone 6 today…and it's going to be returned for being faulty :( Seems like the bottom right corner on the front isn't stuck down properly. Can press it in slightly and it clicks. Hopefully they have new ones in store to exchange as I don't want to be without a phone!

With a 2950 mAH battery in the 6+ I'd expect that the battery should last a shed load longer than any 5/5S device!

Look at the size of the thing, it's the same size as the older phone on it's own... :D

As EE messed me around, and after an hour on the phone I now have 25GB data, unlimited calls an texts for £9 a month for 6 months and then £19.99 thereafter.

Cannot believe my luck, that's ridiculous.

So tempted to get an iPhone 6 as I can get one for free if I pay an extra £5 a month on my plan but I already have a 5S, so I don't really need one...

My 6+ is coming next Monday, yay. Originally scheduled for Saturday but it's being delivered to work so nobody would be in boooo.

Can someone please let me know if backup my 5 through iTunes or iCloud will my What's App messages transfer over too or do I have to wait for them to update the app?

In terms of a case, which provides the most grip, the silicone or leather case?

I held both in a shop today and I feel the leather is slightly better for grip - I thought it would be the silicone, but the leather did seem less slippy.

Also the silicone isn't proper black, it's gray. Whereas the leather is black, which looks really nice IMO contrasting on a white phone.

Yep, icloud backup for me on an ip5. Going to a 6 and restoring for icloud all whatsapp messages (and photos) are restored

Snap. The black [grey] silicone one was no-whee near as nice to hold and look at as the black leather. The silicon one to me just felt greasy
