I got the basic edition for that.

If you use PIA for VPN you can play if you select the hong kong server :)

Using a VPN to access the Mexican Origin prices comes to around £27 for the Ultimate Team Edition, not sure if there's the possibility of a ban but I'd doubt it really. They are legitimate copies of the game after all.

Is there a guide on how to do this? I kinda of know what a VPN is but I've never actually used one before.

Not sure how to get it working with other browsers, personally I use Opera but installed Chrome just to get this extension working and then uninstalled Chrome after I'd finished:


Just copied and pasted the instructions for Titanfall as the process is the same:

Install Hola Unblocker extension for Chrome

1. Go to www.origin.com and turn on Hola and choose Mexican (Will be in Spanish but use Google translate if needed)
2. Put Titanfall Deluxe in the basket (will be 599 Mexican Pesos)
3. Open shopping basket and click proceed from lower right corner
4. Disconnect from your proxy just before logging in to Origin.
5.Log into your origin account (and change page language to English if needed)
6. Buy it like normal, (I used Paypal and just stuck in a random Mexican address)
7. Order will complete as normal and you will get confirmation email and Titanfall now in your origin account!

Just FYI it doesn't come up in Mexican Pesos any more, it shows the price in US Dollars which is $45.00 or something similar, works out at about £27.

When you've downloaded the game you can just follow the instructions in this article, I haven't done it or tried it myself yet, I'll probably do it later just so I can create a UT club and start using the Web App to trade.

Thanks for this. Will I always need a VPN to launch the game even when the UK version is live?

No you only need to use a VPN to launch the game if you want to play it before Friday. It unlocks at 00:00 on Friday in the UK at which point you can just play it without using a VPN, in fact I think you only need to be connected to a VPN when you launch the game, you can alt-tab out of it and disconnect from your VPN after that (I think).
 
Anyone ever come across this "to continue, please ensure that you are signed into origin"

I get the same on fifa 13 also >_> Never figured out how to fix it.

[Seems just installing origin from the website again sorted it who would have thought......]

I just purchased the ultimate team edition using the Mexican VPN but I used my normal address and it showed in Origin fine and I'm pre-loading it now. :)

i used the mexico trick and got Ultimate team version for £28

its £59.99 in UK

double the price can get a whole other brand new game

not sure if rip off is even the right word
 
the game is fantastic! :P did any1 get a message that says play game exceeded over 1 hour then says will have interruption? that pop up message was only a few seconds lol.

Just did this and is was 45 dollars can't beat that for ultimate and a fair price I think so I don't feel at all guilty who wants to pay 70€ lol

Escpecially as they'll get 100+ euro in packs from me charging 70€ for a tweaked fifa14 is absurd they should be giving this game away....
