Anybody think their iPhone 6 has a darker patch in one of the corners? I'm not sure if it's me or the phone, but looks slightly darker in the top-right corner. My GF can't tell any different.
I'll keep an eye on it and take it to an Apple store for a replacement if i feel it's faulty.

Sounds like an issue with the backlight?

I just called about my dead pixel and they're sending a retail boxed replacement phone, complete with accessories.

Yeah definitely a backlight issue if it is an issue, but i keep looking at it and thinking it's fine then opening an app and thinking it looks darker lol.

Do they do a swapout, courier arrives with a phone and takes your one?

Yes, UPS (usually) will arrive to collect your phone and they will send you a new phone either with the same courier (direct swap) or at a later date.

In my experience, even when they state 3-5 days they almost always do a direct swap on the spot.

Well i have just cancelled my 6 plus 64gb order after the case turned up first!

It was a bit of an impulse purchase through work and i have decided its insanely huge and nobody needs a phone that big

Going to wait for them to get in the shops and then have a look or order a normal one, i have a galaxy s5 so i am hardly in poverty land..

You say that but I'm so happy with the 6+. Size isn't an issue at all. Now when I see my old iPhone 5 it looks tiny and weird in comparison. You adjust very quickly and end up using it in an iPad like way for reading etc. It's probably an acquired taste though.

Since there's a risk of not having a phone for a while, would they do a straight swap in store?

Is anybody here on O2? My speeds have been less than inspiring compared to some people with 4G on other networks.
O2 4G is terrible compared to any other network, even other 3G networks beat it. I only stick with them because I love their support.

If you've bought it instore, yes. If you've bought it online... no.

Not from my past experience anyway (I had a damaged 5S on delivery and they wouldn't take it back at the Apple store ).

Depends what the problem is really and/or the store. My iPhone 5 was replaced in store for a faulty power button and they didn't even ask where it was bought.
Makes sense.

Thinking of it, perhaps because the 5 came damaged in the box and they saw it as cosmetic.

I think they did replace an iPhone 4 with a dead pixel, come to think of it :o

Anyone find the vibration on the 6 next to useless? I can understand with the device being thinner there is less room for a vibration motor, but my phone on silent was right next to me earlier, and I completely missed 2 calls.

Not really a moan as such, just an observation.
