Been in and out of stock all morning for different colours and sizes.

Been on the verge of buying a couple of times, but will miss my Jailbreak on the 5S. May yet crumble before the day is out thought.

Anyone find the vibration on the 6 next to useless? I can understand with the device being thinner there is less room for a vibration motor, but my phone on silent was right next to me earlier, and I completely missed 2 calls.

Not really a moan as such, just an observation.

I find mine fairly loud, especially on my desk. Makes me jump

@rotor: 4G you'll use every day, support u'll use a couple of times a year... not a good reason to stay imo.
You have a valid point, but the times I have dealt with other providers (particularly Vodafone) I am invariably enraged, whereas O2's slow 4G is just mildly annoying.

It has become a matter of principle to not reward these terrible terrible companies with my custom.

Are you talking about the reservations? I've been checking today and haven't seen any of the London stores show any stock.

I actually find the vibration a lot stronger/louder than my 5 was. Girlfriend has been complaining about hearing it during the night when it's in the other room.

I absolutely love the vibrate on mine. So strong and silent.

Apple appears to be using a linear oscillating type vibrator instead of the rotating mass unit found in the iPhone 5s. Unlike the linear oscillator found in iPhone 4S, the iPhone 6 Plus unit is rectangular.

It should be louder and stronger for it too :)

Go into settings and change the vibration pattern.

I'm at upgrade time (currently on ip5).

Best deal EE had for me for the IP6 at £40 per month and £100 up front so £1,060 total over the term. 4G, more data than I'd use and ultd txts/calls on 4G network (get coverage at home/work area).

Below that they offered IP5s for £30pm and £10 upfront so £730 total over the term. Same plan as above.

Is the IP6 an upgrade worth £330 extra over the 5S deal?

Had a look elsewhere, best other deal I could find was £39.50pm for IP6 and £34.99 upfront so £982.99 over term. Same plan but would have to move provider.

Any thoughts? EE said they could get me IP6 next day as only one of the colours was out of stock and I don't give 2 hoots about the colour as I always use a full flip case.

Depends if you want the extra size? I went from 5 to 5S, then 5S to 6. 5S is just a fingerprint scanner and slightly better CPU.

Is the 7-10 business days for dispatch accurate at the moment or are they being dispatched quicker than that?

EE said they could get me a 16gb IP6 next day. Cannae mind which colour it was though, but think they said silver was sold out and they had space grey and gold.

Er. No. It's stronger than my previous iPhone 4.

Maybe worth checking the settings?

I'm excited! I was going to go for Space grey but at the last minute I blurted gold instead! :D Now need to find a case that would go well with it.
