So O2 are charging £729 for a 64GB 6 on their refresh plans; I want one, but I'd be £100 better off if I just got a 0% credit card, plus then I've got flexible payments and could have it paid off within a year.

Yeah I don't get that either. All the companies are doing the same, I've checked each one and they are all roughly charging £100 more for the phone itself (when you compare to similar sim-only plans).

I'm guessing it's so that even though they are offering "0% APR" on the phone, they've just bumped the price of the phone to cover it.

Isn't that illegal? Quoting 0% APR has to mean on the same price you would pay in cash.

Spotted that myself so for the money O2 were going to charge me for the 64GB I went to apple and bought the 128GB :)

Nexus 5 - 2,300 mAh
Galaxy S5 - 2,800 mAh
iPhone 6 Plus - 2,915 mAh
iPhone 6 - 1,810 mAh

Depends which phone you have, but none of the new iPhone range will be double as good as the Nexus 5 as the battery capacity is the limiting factor.

Tom's hardware has a nice comparison review: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/iphone-6-battery-life,news-19591.html

Battery size doesnt mean everything though, it depends how its used. My iphone 6 is the smallest battery size on there however i currently have 53% battery after 4 hours 40 mins usage, 1 day 3 hours standby. A full day (yesterday) of using it to google things, take photos, use gps and last night out.

I cant imagine the battery size is much bigger than the one in my iphone 5 but it lasts about a day longer! (Plus the screen is bigger)

There is absolutely no way in hell you are using that phone a lot for it to still be at 50%. Mine tops out at about 7 hours usage and 20hours standby.

Yep!
Got one in at work and i was shocked at how nice it is to use. But is ridiculous as a phone.
Have seen quite a few comments saying "since I got my 6+ I haven't used my iPad mini". Will be interesting to see how much the iPad mini sales are cannibalised by the 6+.

Just how do you get 597 unread emails lol, email... it's wasted on you :)

Its actual 19,511 but mailbox seems to limit at 19000.

This is similar too what I get.

Also my phone randomly vibrates, why? I don't get any notification or anything not sure whats going on.

I was using it yesterday for around 4 hours during a 'treasure hunt' around york. Googling to find answers, looking for places with maps etc. Listening to music for maybe 40 minutes, a few photos last night out

1/2 brightness, manual fetch emails, no background apps. I also have reduce motion on (makes me feel sick when icons appear to float around on the screen) and bold text

Well I went to his house, he showed me his driving licence which matches the Apple receipt I have. He said he loves seeing the new phones and already had a Galaxy Alpha he was showing me. Says he keeps them a week or 2 and gets rid lol. He has a Galaxy Note 4 on pre order. Seemed a genuine guy in a nice area but time will tell I suppose.

Loving the 6+ though, the screen is incredible!

After a bit of a **** around in the shop today, my iPhone 6, 16GB with 5GB of data is being delivered on Friday (touch wood). :)

Happy enough, paid 79.99 upfront and 43/month.

I got a fantastic upgrade deal from EE:

iPhone 6 64GB SG - £99 up front
10GB ~ I tend to use 6-7GB
Un mins/text
Un 08 calls
£36 pm (was £49 but I get 25% loyalty discount)

They also changed me an early upgrade fee via debit card but didn't charge me on my bill which means I'm in credit, I have since requested this credit to be refunded to my bank account. Win win.

Wow, very luck to get such a great deal.

Ha sounds like he could be one of the guys from our phone forum.

I was skeptical about 5GB data but pretty sure it will be enough. I stream a bit of music through Spotify but most popular playlists are saved to my phone. Also skeptical about 16GB but the S3 I've had for 2+ years still has space on it and that's including 2000+ photos on WhatsApp.
