*** Sony Xperia Z3 Compact ***

Yep mine slipped of my table onto my tiled floor yesterday. Small mark on the corner I couldn't work out how it happened but its just dam slippy

You compact users aren't alone. Mine hasn't slipped off anything yet but I watched my phone slowly slide down a table that wasn't quite level lol. Need to be careful where it is placed!

Mine just slips and slides on the sofa everywhere, more of a concern I'll end up sliping on it. I had the packaging film on the back for a few days while I was deciding to keep it - so wasn't an issue till I took it off last night :p

There's some cheap back protectors online I'm going to order I think to tide me over until something better becomes available.

I'm finding the touchscreen sensitivity a bit off too, can't out my finger on it exactly just doesn't seem as accurate as the nexus.

I did wonder if the glass back might make it slippy. That and the risk of cracking turned me off the idea. You can of course use gel covers and what have you but I can be a clumsy and have let most of my phones slip from grasp at some point :(

How is this achieved? What's your settings in Tesla for this to work? I've done just about everything I could including reinstalling nova prime and tesla several times and it still doesn't do any counts on Sony email, SMS or call applications.

Just to say my stock un messed with s4 has bubbles with a number for unanswered whatsapp and texts not sure about email haven't had any today not even off my good buddies Amazon or Sky

I know its not officially out and details are sketchy, but with Remote Play, I assume you can play outside of your home network (over the internet)?

A lot of articles keep saying "within your home wifi", but on Vita you can play quite comfortably over the internet (speed providing).

Very nice looking phone though. Fallen out of love with my iPhone 5 since iOS 8, just can't be bothered with the quirks anymore, so thinking of heading back to Android.

I've just noticed something odd - there's a surprising number of waterproof cases out there for the Z3 and Z3c. You'd think that wouldn't be a very lucrative market?...

I believe the official line is you can, but it's not something they're advertising or endorsing.

Thanks.

Weird, I don't think it takes massive processing power to stream whats basically video and audio, the PS4 is doing all the work. The Vita isn't doing anything special behind the seens, so its strange that they don't just advertise the exact same service for the Z3's as they do for Vita.

I wonder if they've decided advertising the functionality for the Vita was a bad idea? If they've had a lot of people calling tech support about problems streaming PS4 games to the Vita off-site then that would likely impact any decision to advertise the same functionality for Xperia devices. I expect a strong (ac?) wifi connection and fast up/downstream speeds at both ends are needed to get it working well. Even then there's a lot that could go wrong. Officially supporting it could well be more bother than it's worth.

Anyone used it outdoors yet? It seems to have a contrast boost in direct sunlight when the auto brightness is selected. It does work to make it more readable, but colours look rubbish.

The Battery Behemoth !

So, yesterday I used the Sat nav for a bit of a drive (not plugged in)
Used Strava (GPS cycling app that livetracks your progress) for 4+ hours (screen off)
Used the Sat nav for a bit on the drive back
A bit of Facebooking in the evening when I got home
Left the phone off charge and on all night

Woke up to 40% battery left :D

Was that from a full charge ? At what time in the morning did you take it off charge ?

Sorry just seen this - I haven't touched a thing tbh, when it restored my apps I got the bubbles just like I did on my nexus 4 - as it worked I haven't had to go digging to find out how to do it.

Interestingly it doesn't work with other launchers, just the Sony one
