Hi everyone, here we are again it's been 10 years since Zoltan passed away after a 2 year fight with bone cancer. As a family we have held several events throughout the year to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. We have a total of £6635.00 to mark ten years since he died.

R.I.P Darren gone but definitely not forgotten. Miss you always.

Wow, what an amount. Can't believe it coems round so quick.

Lost my Mum last week and that hurt; I look at my children and can't bear to think if it was them.

:)

RIP Zoltan.

My employer (one of the big six energy suppliers) recently announced the teenage cancer trust as its officially supported charity and they regularly run events for staff to raise money too. I think just from staff alone we're up to a few thousand pounds already (in just 2-3 months). It's good to know its going towards a worth while cause.

@ Feriso Sorry to hear your loss mate

Never knew the guy but heard he died of bone cancer at very young age the poor fella, he seemed like a cool guy what people have said, his spirit is clearly living on and he may be gone in body but he definitely hasn't in spirit.

Zoltans Dad I take my hat off to you, you are a strong guy, no parent should ever lose their child and I feel you and your families pain, he is looking down on you all and taking care of you.

Just realised my birthday is only a few days after his and the same year, I also live in Essex, useless post that I know but it makes me feel something inside.

Puts things into perspective big time and makes you appreciate and realise how precious life is, so next time you are moaning about something silly, just think of the poor souls who are losing their lives everyday and how lucky we all are.

RIP Darren.

as I stated before I never new Zoltan, but it warms my heart when this comes round each year, and that now, at 10 years he is remembered fondly by a lot of people here as he was when he was with us,

RIP Zoltan,

I was never around when Zoltan was, but it's obvious that he left a mark in this community and was very well liked.

RIP Darren. Hat off to you zoltans_dad, you're a credit to the memory of your son. Keep it up mate! A fantastic sum raised for the charity :)
