Nice, but I wouldn't worry about legendary engrams until after the patch, as you're not missing much. To date every legendary engram I've had has decoded to a rare item. Thankfully they're 'fixing' it in a patch.

I got that drop about 10 minutes ago and it does Arc damage, so I'm guessing there are a few variants around. It gives me a reason to carry on completing some of the queen missions anyway.

I haven't had a single blue turn into a legendary, and out of the 10 or so legendary engrams I've found, only 2 have actually been legendary. It's one reason I'm really looking forward to 1.0.2 dropping this week, whenever it is.
I had my very first blue turn into a legendary yesterday. I'd also picked up a legendary which also turned into a legendary in the same batch! Imagine my surprise. Neither were better than I already had though (which I had ended up buying because I'd never picked up a legendary before then), so just scrapped 'em for shards

This is my second weapon and again not from an engram but from hitting FWC to level 3.
Now to level up my Vanguard.
How many strange coins do you need for Xur, weapon / amour? Finally hit 13 after 2 of my legendary engram turned into 2+3 strange coins!

Think it's armour that's 13 and weapons are 23.
Just managed to cheese the Nightfall last night with a couple of guys.
By that I mean I spent the entire time dead whilst someone actually did all the damage. The other person kept disconnecting and reconnecting in order to chip away at the Nexus.
All in all it was a really long way of doing it, but we got there in the end

What level did most people tackle the last couple of missions on?
I'm currently Level 17 and wondered if that was enough to take it on alone as my fire-team partner decided to sell the game with 4 missions to go!
I finished it at 18, but had a level 22 help me out throughout it. With what I've learned about the game now though I could probably do it solo at 18.

Think I was level 18 when I did the Mars story missions. Level 19 when I did the last one (Black Garden). If you're on PS4 and get stuck and want some help, feel free to invite me to your fire team (Japheth105).

I am hoping for some exotic armour soon - otherwise it'll be whatever Xur have to offer. Got plenty of Shard but really hard to find Energy for upgrades!
Tell me about it, only just got legendary boots yesterday. Now I just have to grind up the materials to hit 28 and finally attempt the raid. Probably nothing stopping me at 27, I'd just feel better at 28
