Tory Government to take from the poor to give to the old?

They never had operational carriers during ww2 and were very influential took most of the world to beat them.

mainly cause no one else did. until the Americans who then used them to rape the living **** out of the Japanese who lost most of theirs.

... it was an example.

You're right, though, they didn't. Instead the rest of their military was extremely advanced and outmatched anything else in Europe by a country mile.

It could be argued that failure on everyone's part to recognise the influence that brought with it was the reason ww2 broke out when it did.

All the Germans need were planes, tanks and subs and all 3 were the best.Maschinengewehr 42 and mp40 best

stop having ****ing kids you can ill afford seems to be the message

I do agree that if you're in a financially insecure position making a family should be the last thing on your mind but penalizing the poor seems to be quite popular among the English governments.

There was no used for Germans to have them, they were easy targets, the Us needed them because of long distance.

well given we currently arnt planning on fighting any wars in europe but often quire far away carriers are a good thing to have

Pensions are BY FAR the biggest DWP expenditure so why the government is ignoring it whilst hitting every other 'benefit' massively is a complete mystery, it's like urinating on a house fire whilst ignoring the hose pipe sitting on the floor next to you.

But then, what can you expect in a country where the annual deficit went from £30b to over £100bn due to a banking crisis and then everyone except the rich are expected to suffer by having their financial aid and public services stripped away or privatised to pay for it.

Ding ding ding....

The problem is people are just not focusing on the right stuff.... EVER.

Stuff like benefits street always cracks me up.... oh some chav claiming 50 quid a week. Or some company avoiding absolutely MILLIONS in corporation tax?

........ DERP

The problem is people are just dumb.... one is easier to focus on because it doesn't require them to think about it or do some research.

Millions? Pfft... Vodafone was let off of a tax bill worth nearly £7bn. This is the same Vodafone that netted £80bn after selling its share of Verizon Wireless.

But the Tories reckon that it's the poor who have too much money.

Hard choice, Labour i agree was way to soft on the unemployed hence we have the situation now. The crash didnt help matters with even more losing there jobs (i was one of them, but lucky enough to be able to take a year off anyway)

Its a good idea, most pensioners now have put into the system, why should they suffer whilst lazy ass breeders do nothing.

Still wont get my vote.

I wonder how much he is planning to give BT for GFAST. That is a form of Welfare too when they have enough to spend a BILLION after BDUK gave them £500 million. But this is good welfare amirite? Yes subsidy good but subsidy for poor is bad. You have to laugh though not only are all of these people incredibly rich and have life good.

They still want more which leaves me with one conclusion about these people. They are evil.

MPs pay review body says 11% rise, Government say oh we can't interfere. NHS pay review body 1% rise, government says no you can't have it.

Oh the irony!

Seriously **** the greedy scumbag ****s in Westminster of whatever party they can all just die fo all I care. The British people need to wake up and wake up fast, take back the power and if that involves throwing a few bricks at the Houses of Parliament then do it!

Like I've been saying for year's..

If they keep on pushing people into the ground the country will fold..

Then it will be the rich and corporations who will find out how it feels to be poor..

Someone said £500 is a lot to give a family over a year, that they shouldn't get it.. Don't you get that if this poor working family stopped getting working tax credit they'd be out on the street and unable to go to work, imagine what sort of impact that would have on the UK economy, I'f they stopped working tax credit altogether for every working family..

It's already known that a poor persons wage filters out back into the economy when they buy stuff and direct and indirect tax.. I believe corporations and the rich who pay very little of their net worth to HMRC contribute more to damaging the economy..

I hope this happens to them all!

We have no choice in voting anymore:
Con - Tories, Lab - Tory light, Lib - turncoat abandonment of ideaology, ukip - nasty racists. All of them Oxbridge educated rich boys!

Taking from the working poor? Taking from the people who worked hard all their lives for a pension, gave so much and now have so little?

While I do sympathise a little with the "they've worked hard" argument, it is seriously flawed imo.

They reality is, todays generation of pensioners were conned by the governments they elected. They took their hard earned money, and spent it on bribing people to get themselves elected. They were the recipients of these bribes.

Now that nations pot is empty, it seems very unfair to lumber this mistake on the next generation of hard working people.

It's reasonable that pensioners should make a sacrifice of some sort, but their attitude can only be described a selfish and actually slightly childish. All pensioner benefits should now be means tested at the very least.

Lots of people go through life working hard and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Working hard doesn't automatically entitle you to anything.

You need to make wise decisions if you want to live comfortably is later years, and frankly, the UK governments attitude to pensions for the last generation has been one of denialism.

I thought the whole point of poor was you had nothing left to give? The current flavour has been the squeezed middle...

So lets assume you are a hardworking person, who has previously had a successful career.
Then you are hit with ill health, bad enough to loose your job or not be able to continue with your job, but not bad enough to receive invalidity benefits.

(You have to be half dead to receive disability benefits these days).

It's very arrogant and naïve to suggest that one should just 'become better at your job' or work harder.

That's not far from what has happened to me. I had a successful IT training business teaching Government officials from the Commonwealth. As it grew I employed other people to train to do my job.

Unfortunately I was struck down with a ruptured stomach ulcer and lost everything as my staff couldn't cope whilst I was in hospital.

After 5 years I earn just under £500 a week but am being told I need to rely on food banks whilst the system sorts out what I should and shouldn't be paying.

All the time I am being told I have to wait the people I have to pay will not, and why should they. In addition I pay child support from my failed marriage yet my partners ex pays nothing because the CSA will not pursue a legal attachment of earnings on him as he refuses to pay.

48 hours of work a week for what? and everywhere I turn a food bank is the answer.

The system is a joke.
