Wow, the iphone 6 battery is quite a lot smaller than the HTC one (just looked up the specs). I'll see if I can live with it. Down to 49% at the moment though. :(

Battery life for the same useage is much longer with my 6 than my M7. I reckon about 30% better in my case, with lots of web browsing and music playing.

Perhaps it's worth seeing if it is your phone? Did you do a restore from backup? Apparently that can cause problems with the battery.

I will try a restore but it's a new phone. That generally fixes problems that occur with phones older than 6 months (It's 3 and a half days old). I haven't installed that many apps and they're all big names so I can't see that being the problem.

I think I'll give it a week then book an appointment at the apple store, see if I can get it swapped.

I took it off of charge at 8am today and it's on 29%!

Still struggling between the 6 and 6+, want to order tonight.

I seriously suggest going down a phone shop to see them in person.

That's what I done as I had the same dilemma but once I held the 6+ in my hands (which are big!) it's just felt to awkward for everyday use as a phone.

IP6 all the way for me. It's just the right size.

;)

Will call them tomorrow then and see where I get to as what you got in terms of service sounds like what I need.

Their phone helpline isn't very good. Constantly consulting with a supervisor and trying to charge me £29 for an express RMA So I don't have to go without a phone.

Gave up after 45 minutes after being told I'd have to be on hold again to get the exchange authorised by the UK supervisor. Apple support gets worse and worse.

Their phone support is horrible, the whole experience sucks, talking to a robot that can hardly comprehend anything, and everything else, compared to the instore experience is just bad but it sucks as they don't handle many online orders.

ME TOO :)

Let the excitement commence, let the delivery tracking details arrive, let the impatient checking of money taken from account begin.

When the deliver day arrives I'll be swearing the house up a treat watching every delivery van under the sun drive past and not daring to shower or poop just in case.

Definitely my experience so far. Had to resort to Genius Bar appointment so will see if they can rescue the situation by exchanging it quickly.

It's a difficult decision, I had both the 6 and 6 Plus at launch so used them extensively. I started with the 6, its really light and the screen was just a perfect size coming from a 5S, fits perfect in any pocket too :D - great device overall.

Moving to the 6 Plus its ginormous I was taken aback by the size  - I understand from talking to folk already using large devices this would happen. It takes some getting use to, you have to adapt the way you use a phone i.e. difficult / impossible texting one handed but you naturally adapt IMO. The battery life is excellent and pocket-ability for me is fine don't have an issue. There is a noticeable weight difference, its heavier but not detracting from the overall experience. The screen is lovely, surfing, gaming and watching movies is really nice on the Plus.

Go and play with them both. I returned the 6 and it's hard to go back from the Plus to anything smaller for me. You do get comments referring to it as a brick! juvenile as it is :D - It has replaced my iPad mini retina, wasn't planning on it just happened :)
