Do you guys/girls think that the Wii U games Mario Kart 8 & Donkey Kong Country : Tropical Freeze will be good games for a 6 year old to play and not to hard or difficult ??

Thanks for the quick replys...:)

Wishing I bought them today now..:(
I picked them both up in my local game shop about 5 times and thought I better ask on here before spending about £75 buying them..

Shouldn't have a problem with Mario Kart 8, especially if he/she can get the hang of power sliding around corners.

Donkey Kong can be a difficult game though as it requires some patience and precision from a fairly early point. I think he/she could enjoy it, but may have trouble progressing far through the game.

If I buy the digital download versions of these games from the Nintendo store can they be play by all the different accounts I have setup on my Wii U ?

As I just been thinking kids have a real bad habit of scratching game discs really easy so digital download versions would be a far better option..

Yep, agree with the above. I still think Rayman legends is one of the best games on the wii u.

Donkey country is hard for an adult with patience.

My 4 year old played Mario kart on the in-store demo system with reasonable success. Mario land he found more tricky. At 6, I would think platformers should get easier

Ok I just bought the Mario Kart 8 game off the store and downloading it now..:)
Think am going leave the DK game for now..

Rayman Legends and Super Mario 3D Worlds would be easier than DK for a 6 year old. Both are fantastic games.
I Already have these Wii U games below

SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD
New Super Mario Bros. U
Wii Party U with Remote Plus
Nintendo Land
Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed

Where's Pikmin!!!

If you've completed Mario Bros, the Luigi expansion pack is pretty awesome.
I owned my wii U for over 18 months now and I never even played a single game on it...... :o
I Bought it mainly for the kids & family to play & use and they love it so am happy...;)

Plus I have far far to many PC ,PS4, PS3 , PS vita & Xbox360 games to play first that I haven't had time to play yet..;)

No it's not, it's no more difficult than the old SNES era Donkey Kong games which I played and completed when I was 8 (and again 3 weeks ago as it happens).

I forget how amazing awesome you are at games, so obviously it's not difficult to you. To us mere mortals, it's difficult though.
