The Evil Within

Recommended specs often vary wildly though in terms of best experiences. Due to that, I wouldn't worry about them too much.

Updated now to show you can get by with 1GB VRam I think the 4GB VRam is OTT its most likely 3Gb VRam on the GPU + 1GB VRam mapped as system ram if you look in the Nvidia control panel system information it lists 5886MB as total available graphics ram on a 3Gb VRam GTX 780 Ti so I think most people with a 2Gb VRam GPU will be able to max this out.
 
One thing that bothers me about this game is that its coming with black letterboxing ingame at all times to give a movie like atmosphere :eek:

On PC only Bethesda say the devs will release the console comand to remove it but I am a little sceptical when that will happen :rolleyes:
 
I didn't know about the letterboxing. That sucks for an ultrawide screen.
I hope theres some way you can remove or alter it without it messing anything up though.

If they don't release the command it will be found fairly quickly if not immediately by users and Bethesda will be slated online into the dirt.

Can they afford to please PC gamers or annoy them? Either way we win.

The black bars and 30 FPS limit are a little worrying, but game does look great in the trailer. Will wait for user reviews before buying, just to be safe :)
