ok so i reached Lvl 20 last night and managed to get a it up to 22 with the Armour and the Light thing.....what ever that is. So now what, i struggle with the weapons that i have online and theres never anyone around for the strikes and raids

*Sigh* Quite close to getting to IB rank 2 for the cloak but most games I get put in my team are beyond useless, and what with no reputation given to the losing team it's taking forever.

Just solo'd the nightfall. Got an exotic gauntlets item, for a warlock though. Made level 28 too now.

Any tips?

For what mate, levelling?

If you mean the solo then just take your time and sit back with a sniper rifle to take out the goblin dudes who can pretty much one shot you. Having icebreaker helps as you'll have unlimited ammo. For the boss after you've cleared out the fallen hide under the platforms at the top of the hill near the back.

I got to the end boss. Cleared out the area before the priest is released and then hid under the platform. The first wave that came out to help him just mullered me under there. The dregs crouched and the shanks got me too.

Just hit 20 pretty easily a couple of days back, and this has gone all frustrating all of a sudden. No idea what I'm meant to be doing now....strikes and raids to just collect loot and gear??

Personally I prefer doing the Daily Heroic and Patrols for Vanguard Bounties, but yeah it's basically a grind from now on until they give us some more content.

I picked up the Ice Breaker exotic sniper rifle from Xûr. It's pretty much the best thing ever. The thing needs no ammo, it just absorbs ammo out of the atmosphere or something. Oh, and it deals some serious damage as well. Headshot on a vandal --> over 5000 damage.

So I got a choice of three exotic weapon bounties this evening - yay! Then I looked up what each one involved /sigh I went for the Bad Juju one in the end simply because I don't yet have a legendary primary weapon. Anyone done this one and want to offer some words of encouragement?

Um, it might be a good weapon when they buff it. Currently its supposed to be underpowered. I'm at the crucible part of the bounty and have lost the will to complete it!

Yeah, I'm not surprised it's popular. High damage, and the fact that you don't have to hunt for ammo is a fantastic combination. And though I haven't unlocked it yet, it has an upgrade that makes anything you kill explode. Yeah, I'm looking forward to that.

It's my first exotic item, and I had to work for it. Started today with 12 strange coins, and needing 5 more to be able to buy it before Xûr disappeared. Happily, a friend of a friend with a level 29 hunter was willing to help me through the weekly heroic strike at level 28, which gave me 6 coins (I'd already done it at level 22).

Was tempted to also pick up the exotic helmet engram for all of my motes of light. But I figured it had a 66% chance of giving me a helmet I couldn't use, so I thought better of it.
