Hi ,

Its made by Nuglass check here :
crystal clear but you know its fully protected. Forget about those plastic film ones now.

I also got the Spigen Neo hybrid case in white. Tight fit but feels good. :D

Does this nuglas goes right to the edge of the phone as I seen some screen protector not going to the Edge

Anyone buy applecare with their phone? Do I just have to pay 50quid for an apple repair if it breaks in two years?

Going to pull the trigger on this now

My brother-in-law has phoned me up today and rather sheepishly told me his new pride and joy - iPhone 6 has been returned for a 5s.

He said quite simply that for him the 6 is to large, he much prefers the size of the current 5s.

This is the second person I know of that's done this with a IP6 since launch day. There are also posts on here from people having done the same.

I think there's a clear demarcation going on with this phone. If you are the sort of user who plays games or wants to watch a movie etc. then I can see the attraction in a larger screen. However, many people don't use their phones in this way.

I admit I don't watch movies or play games on my phone. Well I don't play games full stop. I did once try to watch a movie but found the whole experience less then satisfying. In any event I drive to and from work and have a large panel TV at home, so why would I watch a movie on something as small as a phone?

I think many users are like me, so for me and people like me a larger screen is not a selling point. I do appreciate there are lots of people that do watch movies and games though. For those I can see merit in a larger screen.

However, I really do think the phablets are OTT though.

I don't watch movies on my phone and play very few games, but going from a 4-inch phone to a 5-inch was still a revelation. It's so much better for browsing and for productivity.

Surprised that people think the iP6 is too big - even with my small hands I can reach the far corner of the screen perfectly.

The thing is that for the foreseeable future, Apple won't be producing any 4" 5S sized phones so people are either going to have to accept that the 5S is the furthest that they are going to go when it comes to an Apple phone, or embrace the fact that the phones are going to be 4.7 and 5.5 inches and try and get used to them.

And it's not as if any other company is producing a 4" phone in the Android world so a potential jump over isn't on the cards either.

The larger phones are here to stay for a long time yet.

+1 I agree, I play very little games and I am appreciating the extra space, it is very handy. Don't regret getting my 6 one bit.

I could NEVER go back to my iPhone 5 now. It's like a toy compared, it's now where Apple should be feeling top level premium again. I'm so happy with it :D

Hi rooky ;)

Due to the curvy nature of the iPhone's front screen it does not go to the edges. It would not be touching them as it curves back around the phone.
It is perfectly measured to fit precisely onto the front, flat part of the screen covering the usable area perfectly. It takes a little time to alline correctly but it's a good fit.

I highly recommend them, getting one for all the tablets in the household now. :D

I don't see there being a distinction of people wanting the 6 or going back to the 5S. I know plenty of people who love the upgraded screen size, and some who don't.
It's all opinion, so nothing is clear. I don't play games or watch movies on my 6. I web browse, check emails and text mainly. I just enjoy having the larger screen.
It seems like I can't ever touch older iterations of iPhone's. When I had my 3GS, i was sure that anything bigger would be stupid. Got hold of the 5 and can't look back at the 4 without pulling a disgusted face. Now it's the same looking back at the 5.
I now truly believe that android phone manufacturers did do something right, and that was making phones bigger (not 5.5"+).
But then again, people would disagree with what I just said. So the conclusion I have come to is, some people like it, some don't. The best solution for Apple is to make all 3 sizes.

I've kept my iPhone.5 again this year, I've decided I didn't need the bigger screen as I got a nexus 7 and iPad, if I needed a bigger screen in would go for an iPad mini and keep my phone as 4", maybe next year we will will see the iPhone 6 compact.

im in the same boat currently on a 4s was hoping to upgrade to a 6 but i dont game much on the phone. tho bigger screen would be nice since i use tomtom app a lot when i am out on my motorbike. getting a droid phone would mean buying tomtom app and updates again:/

I think Apple would be wise to keep all three phones in their line-up, at least for the time being. That way they can gauge demand for all three iterations.

I do find it odd that so many users have now changed their opinion on screen size though. Only a couple of iterations back users were sneering at Android users with their larger screens claiming they weren't needed.

No matter how much I agree with having your own opinion, I really dont think the size of the 4 is suitable. Web browsing for example, is such a pain. Even typing is more difficult imo, and I dont even have big hands. Like I said, i hardly game, but the extra screen estate compared to the 4 and even 5 is amazing.

My iPhone six won't connect to cellular. 8.0.2. Known issue?

I have reset network settings and turned on off many times

Very frustrating. Don't want to backup and restore. This is the base functionality to expect from a smartphone!

Edit: on topic of size - I now find my iPhone 4S to be intolerably small. Can't believe I think that as never was a problem before!

Is it after update or have you never had it working ?
