**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

At the start of the vid it looks like the note 4 still has the protective film on the rear camera? Maybe just seeing things as I am watching on my phone :p

I resized them:

What camera did you take the pics on, they look good to me.

Can you take some pictures with the note 4 ? I want to see the image quality!

Thanks a lot for resizing it. Im currently on vacation. Taking lots of photos. Will upload them when i get enough pictures.

The camera i used to take the photos is the Sony QX100

Size matters when it's in the hand or filling your pocket. ;)

So who is going for one?

I'm really tempted to go for the O2 deal. I currently have a Nexus4 which is great, I've lived with the limited 16GB capacity for almost 2 years but now want a new phone. I hardly make any voice calls or send any texts, I do however like a decent device for Web, email, podcasts, music and really only want to carry one device round with me. I don't want to spend a lot of money so the £28 a month deal on O2 is perfect. The O2 signal quality at work used to be great, then work changed to Vodafone and there were some mast changes, now O2 isn't so good. I'm currently polling my colleagues for their view of signal reception in the various locations I work on site. Until I started to read up on the Note4 I was considering the Sony X3, HTC M8 or the S5.

I think I've settled on the deal I want to go for:

UL Minutes
UL Texts
10GB 4G Data
£59.00 for the phone (Quidco @ £60)
£43.99 per month.
Total over 24 months = £1032
If the phone is worth £599 then that leaves the cost of the contract at £433 over the 24 months. Broken down to a monthly cost that's £18 per month which is very reasonable I think.

I have an early contract termination fee of £140 to pay off my S4 contract so when I sell the S4 this will settle that.

Just had a right scare, received an email this morning that my application had been declined, strange as I'm currently with o2 and never had any issues with contracts, I thought it must have been mobiles.co.uk reneging on the offer, about 30 mins in the online chat queue, finally told it was a mistake, someone clicked the decline button instead of accepted  :D

I went with the three deal.

Galaxy note 4 black
Unlimited data 4G
600 minutes
Unlimited texts (who cares?)
2GB tethering
Free 0800/0808/0500 numbers (084 is 4p a minute)
2000 free three to three minutes

£99 upfront + 24x£41 = £1083

I get it on the 24th apparently.

Me too :D

Annoyingly, we had the launch put back til this coming Friday to match the USA, but reading on t'internet a lot of them have received their phone today, or tomorrow! Bah! :(

Ordered £28 o2 deal at 14:20pm today, had confirmation of order then another email 6 mins later saying out of stock and I'd be contacted within 7 days with eta .

Yay, you've both lifted my spirits :)

Although was sort of happy to have some wiggle room/time to explain to the wife why I need a new phone.

It can't come soon enough for me, I have a buyer for my note 3 waiting and I have someone interested in the o2 contract for £10 a month! If both those go through, the Note 4 costs me next to nothing!!
