Nexus 6 Rumours and Speculation

The Nexus 6 will have a significant price bump, but I also think it has a significant quality bump too. It's features are truly high end without much compromise so the increased price is understandable imo.

The Nexus phones have always been average phones with the absolute best software, the software alone is enough of a perk to make them appealing which is why they have been so popular. With the Nexus 6 it's a top class phone (with the attached top price) with the same top class software.

If you can deal with the size of a phone like this on a day-to-day basis I think it is the phone to get, it's better then the Note 4 because of the software alone. Just a shame there is no 5 inch version or I would be all over it.

Oh well very happy with my Z3-Compact. :)

Sweet.. way too big I think.

Glad to see N10 is also getting L, I thought it was left in the dark. Seems strange the 4 is not though... And I'm assuming the N7 2012 won't get it either. Now to wait for factory images...

The Nexus 6 doesn't excite me, I'm not really a fan of Motorolas designs and 6" is just too big. Either way it looks like a nice evolution. Also I notice it comes with a normal SMS app...

No Hangouts as the default any more?

The Nexus 9 on the other hand looks brilliant. It looks like Google is also trying to aim this device for productivity as well with the keyboard case. Would be interesting to see how will the K1 Denver performs compared to the current Snapdragon/Exynos SoCs. It's tempting me, but my Nexus 10 is still working fine :(. It had a battery problem which I was going to use as an excuse for myself to buy the new tablet but I fixed that with a few power cycling...

I'm tempted by the Nexus Player as well, was going to buy another Chromecast for the kitchen but this looks more handy.

EDIT: Thank god they're keeping the Nexus 5. I guess they were draining stock so they can flash the new batches with Lollipop?

Also. It states 7 is getting lollipop.. Which 7? Or both. Wonder if lollipop will make the old 7 usable again for some purpose even if it's just basic reading and browsing

Well. they look amazing. Just as my S3 is dying, need a new phone. The november release is brill, thought it would take a whole lot longer.

Never even considered the nexus 9, but it looks so nice i might have to replace my 7 with it unless the android L updates come to it and i then may be happy enough

On google.com/nexus/6 it says
"Camera
13 MP front-facing with optical image stabilisation
2 MP rear-facing"

13MP front facing and 2MP rear? typo?

Yeah, I'm wondering if this would be a suitable replacement for my iPad Air.. could well be.
