Nexus 6 Rumours and Speculation

No it really isn't. It's a completely bloated resource hog that does nothing other then make Android look bad.

Samsung spend all their time thinking of new gimmicky features then they force them on every single user.

Pretty sure they don't refuse rooted devices if the hardware fails I've read a number of stories and would fancy my chances hence using a custom rom on my S5 which pretty much gets rid of all the bloat and gimmicks you don't want as mentioned before xtrolite. However I would much prefer a stock Android nexus but at the 5" range. I'm happy with my S5 and would prefer it over a 6" Nexus that's uncomfortable to use.

Also you could root the s5 without tripping knox via towelroot if you didn't update the phone after July.

Also that tablet looks beautiful.

I believe not enough has been made about the fabulous display screen on the N6, which at 6 inches on a smartphone is very powerful for viewing content and watching video, two of the most popular uses of any smartphone. And the Material Design features built in to the UI should make this device a must have.

Invest in bigger pockets if you are worried. Uniqlo is selling big pocket trousers at low prices!

So glad the nexus 6 has an amoled screen. I did have some hope due to moto favouring amoled in their devices.

I was all set to go for the note 4 due to the amoled and larger screen but the nexus 6 offers that plus stock android, faster updates etc.

It's a no brainer for me. The only thing that kept me with samsung devices was the amoled screen, I hated everything else about them.

Whilst the camera may not be up to Samsung levels I still take some very pleasing shots which are perfectly good and undifferentiated from my previous samsungs.

cameras an nexus's have always lacked. not that it cant be a gigantic step up from the 5.

Actually the new Lollipop camera API will revolutionise the Android camera. Plus making assumptions on the Nexus 6 camera seems very premature especially as it has OIS and seemingly top of the range hardware.

Nexus cameras have never been the best, but every single generation has had a much better camera then the last.

I know features are subjective, what one person may find useful others don't. But I rarely take pictures with a phone, I literally wouldn't be bothered if a phone I owned didn't even have a camera on it, and I can't remember I actually found a removable battery or sd card useful for me personally.

I can definitely see the appeal, i.e putting a bigger battery that lasts longer, or for those who need lots of storage having the ability to add 128gb at a relatively cheap price etc

Looks good. I'm not tempted, how about you?

Never really used Tablets much, and all the ones I've owned have been stolen by family/gf. But I really think the Nexus 9 is the one, partly cause no one can steal it since they all have their own. Its either that or an iPad air 2/rMini2.

i was merely going by the spec compare to the note4, 13mp vs 16mp and 2mp vs 3.7mp. that plus nexus's traditionally sucking

The fact you quote 13mp vs 16mp as an argument for camera quality just shows your lack of knowledge in the area. Megapixels play a very very small role in camera quality.
