Nexus 6 Rumours and Speculation

Just to add some more fun to this whole camera spec debate...

On paper, the Note 4 DOES have the better specced camera, I think. The Note 4 has a 1/2.6" sensor, whereas the Nexus 6 is a 1/3" sensor. If/how that actually translates into quality difference remains to be seen, but in theory the larger sensor size is a better specification.

but even if the N6 had a 000000.1 mexapixal camera it still wins as it does not have touchfisherpricewhizz

I am 90% certain that the 60FPS thing has been around since jellybean.

Oh right, I thought it was a new thing for android l

Android scrolling etc has always felt a bit choppy and not like 60fps smoothness.

Anyway anyone know any uk prices? I've seen the US price at 649$ but I'm hoping they don't so the usual direct "shaft uk" conversion so it's £649. I'm kinda imagining 549 or something realsitically

Are movies going to be any good on 4:3 screen compared to a 16:10?

Its Nvidia Shield v Nexus 9 for me, also lack of SD-Card for movies sucks!

Well if true that would actually add something to the debate. I didn't realise anything was known about the N6 camera other then it is 13mp.

Sensor size is one valid measurement of camera spec, like you say the results often translate differently so we will wait and see. Where abouts is the info on the N6 camera? I struggled to find anything really. :p

On here Motorola list the sensor as the "13 MP IMX 214 Image Sensor":

Which Sony show as a 1/3.06 sized sensor:

AFAIK the only thing that is related to smoothness/animations in android L is that EVERYTHING is animated now.

Google did a video showing the increased FPS etc. for jellybean

I have zero problems with my stock nexus 5, still the fastest smoothest phone out there, I have never seen it stutter or slow down. From my experience Samsung devices just stutter/lag along, can thank ****wiz for that :p

The only other devices (that I have used) which feel just as quick as the n5 are the HTC one m8, m7 and the moto X (2013)
