Which GTX970?

Hi,

I am on the verge of ordering a 970, can anyone recommend a specific card? Any particular reason not to go for the cheaper ones?

id probably wait to see how the special 970 ones gibbo got coming in do. apparently no or less coil whine.

If you don't want any hassle with possible coil whine/whatever, as above, get one of Gibbos oCuk's custom 790's:

Mostly luck...you can always return an item within 14 days if you are unhappy without worrying about RMA

Went for it, and looking good, card looks straight and coil wine is minimal

I bought one of them and haven't had any problems at all with it and no coil whine.
