***Motorola Droid Turbo***

There's a motorola event in Brazil on 5th November with a small part of the droid turbo on display so hopefully worldwide release. I ordered a moto x today on the sale but have 14 days to return.
.

Verizon (I think it was that carrier) did a special discount of ~$100 off the handset price of the Moto x 2014 a few weeks back when bought on contract. A few weeks later the Droid Turbo was announced for the US.

Today, in the UK the Moto X 2014 was discounted by £60 (~$100)...so maybe in a few weeks it'll be its UK announcement...

Well I caved last night and ordered a 2014 X. I've been on the fence for a while mainly not sure if I'll get on with the size. No sooner ordered and there is talk of a possible releases outside of Verizon

Droid Turbo has a huge battery but is not all that much heavier than the new Moto X I see looking at the specs. Not sure why the switch back to capacitive keys though.

I done the same but my phone isn't here until 10th November. By then we will know about the Moto Maxx (Turbo name) and return within 14 days sales of good act

Come-on Motorola, do the right thing and release this badboy worldwide, I'll buy in a heartbeat! Roll on the 5th Nov.

Seen the droid charger thing? 8hrs battery from a 15mins charge?!

The Turbo charge is a feature on the Moto X too (anything with Quallcomm Quick Charge 2.0 can do it), so numerous other phones can take advantage of that. I think the OnePlus One also can, but of course the actual total charge time will vary depending on the battery.

Have to say I'm interested in this now. Initially I didn't get my hopes up as I thought it was only a US release but if it does come the the UK I'd be pretty happy. Hopefully someone will do a comparison of this and the Nexus 6 together to help me choose :p

Looks like good news, I like the 2014 X but it just isn't quite good enough to run with the big boys (Z3, M8, S5, G3). This is better.
