Terminator franchise reboot

WTF did I just read? That sounds ridiculous.

I think the thing we all have to face is... we are no longer the target audience:eek:

As far as the entertainment industry is concerned those of us around for the originals are Coffin Dodgers:o:p

Yeah, no...

I think Emilia Clarke is a passable younger Linda Hamilton perhaps not in that image but from other stills I've seen... so I'm hoping for some sense of a link even if small.

What ever we say I think we'll all end up watching it so we can at least bitch about it:o:D

I didn't think the franchise could sink any lower than Salvation, which was truly one of the most pathetic attempts at a script I've ever seen.

This sounds worse - how hard can it be to make a decent Terminator film? Jesus.

I think the smart thing after T2 would have been to just make a prequel showing how they managed to send Kyle Reese back in time. Then everyone could have seen plenty of the future war which was so intriguing, and we wouldn't have the awful T3 and Salvation.

Plus, how does this even make sense.

So we have to assume the resistance have sent Arnie/ Terminator back to watch over Conner as she grows up, at what point does the future stop mucking it up in the past?
Then what was the point of sending one back when Conner was a bit older/ none aware of the possible future?

That would have a 1000 times better than T3 etc!

There appears to be an inordinate amount of shouting whilst shooting in this film. :p

Also, why does Matt Smith have what appears to be Eotech optics on a flame thrower? :p
