Nice one! Wish I had a Vodafone where I livebut even if I did, by the time I finish work I wouldn't get there in time.

To be fair, they had a tonne of stock...so you might be lucky if you try a mission tomorrow

went to 2 stores today and both sold out.
Ummmed and ahhhhd about returning mine, coming from a note it feels small... but toyed with it some more...and the 'experience' on the M8 is so much nicer...
Its fast, smooth, the screen is better by some way (colour and whites are a world apart) and those speakers are pretty damn special.
This will do nicely for the next 6 months.
BTW still stock in Bracknell, Woking, Croydon...

I own the M8 and as of right now wouldn't change it for any phone on market.
+HTC Sense = Hands down the best android skin
+build quality = the best you dont get any better
+Camera I know people say it isn't as good as other phones, but if I being truly honest here it takes a trained eye in spotting the difference. Its also improved a lot since release with Firmware updates to the device.
+Battery Life I avg with heavy usage around 5+ hours screen on time.
+size and wait is spot on, I dont think I could use a phone any bigger than this though.
+Sound dual speakers off rich music and video watching.
I cant think anything bad I dont like about it tbh lol Some this could be seen as biased because I quite a big HTC fan.

My biggest issue with the HTC M8 is the size, it has a huge amount of bezel due to the speakers + the HTC logo.

Well i picked one up and now have it running the Google Play Edition so i will get OTA updates direct from google

Had a nightmare evening:
Unlocked bootloader
Rooted
Flashed new recovery
Flashed new ROM
**Only to find out new rom doesnt have updated wifi firmware**
Therefore unable to s-off!
Had to recover nandroid
Put stock recovery on
Lock bootloader
Unroot
Finally OTA update, four hours later, back to square one!
Im gonna cry!
EDIT: Did you pay for sunshine s-off or used firewater?
Im on VODAP001, 2.22.161.6 is it possible via firewater and which rom did you flash before using it?

Guys i paid the $25 to use sunshine, excellent piece of software and much respect to the guys that developed it.
I used THIS video after i did the sunshine and everything went perfectly.
Sunshine wont work here either..
Which rom were you running xtremedetailz when you used sunshine?
If I cant get s-off then I cant install Google Play Edition ROM, I want close to stock android (latest version) if possible.
