Why is the Shield performing better than the N9 in benchmarks?
300mb update already hmppf.
So far it feels nice, not to heavy, but heavy enough to feel good in 1 hand. I do like the metal trim around the device, but if I hold it in landscape im going to be covering the speakers, so im hoping it wont muffle the audio to much.
So far im not liking the volume/power buttons, feels very spongy, not really getting a nice click like my N5 etc
Different CPU.
SHIELD Tablet has Quad-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A15
N9 has Dual-core 2.3 GHz Denver.
Interesting so the Shield Tablet comes out better in some instances.
stuttering?
Ive just done a quick vid, so hopefully shows how the stuttering is.
sorry its not fab quality, was in a rush lol

good man, it actually looks ok, certainly not the degree of stuttering i thought when reading the reviews, how does it feel to you regarding stuttering?
Yeah ive noticed it a few times switching between the open apps menu and going to homescreen, deffo microstutters, its not annoying and ill happily live with it as it'll be a software fix (i hope)
I like the speakers, just did a quick test on youtube and mavity film, my first device with front facing speakers, so YAY! if you have the volume up enough you do get vibration if holding in landscape, so that may tire your hands sometime.
Sounds weird but...
I have a macbook air...and a htc one m8...
I want a tablet... and really... I want the Nexus 9 to be brilliant but at this price and with these "quirks" ...I'm not sure if buying an iPad is a better call now.
MBA + iPad
or
Nexus 9 + HTC One M8
Dilemma.
