Looking for a new company car.......

I'm still leaning towards the Mondeo Titanium but I found yesterday that you can get a decent spec VW Passat Estate for similar money (which surprised me, I always thought VW's were a lot more money!) - anyone got any experience of the 2.0 TDI "Bluemotion Tech Highline" model??

For under 13k, with your mile and age limit?

I'm shocked if you can get one which hasn't been put thought a wall.

There were 2 on Autotrader for just under £12k - one had done 95,000 miles () but the other looked perfect..........until the following day when the advert was amended to show it had been a cat D write off!!! :D

Looks like the Passat might be a bit pie-in-the-sky - Mazda is an interesting idea thought but even then it looks like I might be struggling in budget for a 12 month old!!

12 months old for under £12k? You're looking at Vauxhalls then, since they depreciate like a stone.

Back on this after a bit of a break and I've been handed a bit of good news in that my budget is a bit higher than originally thought at circa £15k! :)

Had a quick look and I'm really liking the look of the 2-litre Mondeo Titanium Business Edition - you seem to be able to pick one up for around that sort of figure with little over 10,000 miles on it and the spec looks very nice!

Anyone got any opinions on this model or whether I should be looking at other options at this price point??

I had a new Mondeo Titanium X 2.0D from 2008 to end of 2010, and I have to say that it was brilliant, and HUGE with absolutely tons of space inside. I'd certainly recommend one if you can get it in your budget.
