Well it's now been said that Samsung are taking a completely new direction on the Galaxy S6 so I think we may see Z3 like weather proofing next year on Samsung phones.

Did they say the same about the S5? I really cannot remember as I skipped S4 and S5 after seeing how little things changed :p

:(

Im rather angry with myself here. I bought the phone at CPW and I signed up for "geek squad" insurance because I was gonna cancel it within a month and it would cover me until I added phone to bank insurance.

Looks like I might have to use them afterall.

Inside the phone there is now a little red dot on the moisture indicator. Cant believe I was so clumsy. Will go into CPW tomorrow.

I think most of the water got inside the S-pen hole as the Headphone and power point were sealed up. Also some in the speakers I guess.

Ill try and blag a replacement.

Another reason I went for the s5 prime over this. Waterproof :p.

Ay? The s5 is waterproof (one rating below the Z3 but plenty of people seem to go swimming with it/use it in the shower with no issues). I think it is rated officially for 30 mins at 1 metre depth

I have to say that the battery life complaints havent landed on my note 4, running since monday, I have charged it once and still have another day or so life on it, Ive been using it for browsing on wifi, tv remote control, photobucket and email so it has had a fair bit of use, brightness set to a 3rd which seems plenty to me. My Note 2, even with a slightly upgraded battery wouldn't have lasted this long.

Ok guys, well after my bath situation yesterday I tried hair dryer and whatnot. I left it a few hours and impatiently turned it back on. Screen was green and flickering .

Left it out over night and tried it now. It's fine. Just like it was pre-dunk.

So I guess I don't have to go to cpw after all. Because if it's working I doubt they would give me a new one right?

You said you had insurance, right? Is there an excess you would have to pay?

I might be a little worried myself, if it was only £50, maybe get a new one anyway?

What happens if something else goes wrong, you can't send it back as they will see water damage.
