People saying that Killzone is awful are talking out of their bum hole. Granted, it's not amazing but it's a fairly solid FPS with some nice tactical elements. Also quite a challenging game on higher difficulties which is rare these days. It can be found for around £15 nowadays so I would recommend it at that price.

Considering the exclusives coming out in 2015 for the PS4 I think he is right. Plus some of the X1 exclusives are out on PC. He did state he was a PC gamer after all.
Killzone is better than people give it credit for but it does take time to get going. Quitting after the first chapter isn't really giving it a fair shot. I like the tactical levels. Quite hard, and if you want to run and gun, you will die a lot. Visuals are great. I really like the soundtrack and the story. Makes me want to go back and play through them all. Not the best FPS I've ever played but far from the worst.
And TLoU, doesn't get much better than that. Amazing stuff from ND.

Pro's:
Graphics are amazing.
Interesting game mechanics (OWL)
Solid Multiplayer that is well supported after release
Con's:
Story is disjointed and rushed.
Environments can be confusing, found it difficult to know where to go or pick out enemies.
Killzone has fantastic visuals.. I enjoyed it, but it can be a tad marmite.
agnes, welcome to the ps4 crew, I know you're a huge pc gamer, however a ps4 is an excellent companion to your pc gaming, but do not overlook some ps4 games purely as they are on pc already.. ps4 is well capable to handle many of today's demanding games.
only just completed the cod advanced warfare campaign and I can honestly say the visuals in certain levels looked photo realistic imo. excellent sofa console shooter I felt.
infamous second son is also a remarkable game for visuals and fun... there are also some great indie titles like resogun, odd world new n tasty and even pure pool I think deserves a shout if you like quick pool games.. loads to buy, play and ps4 even has share play once you get internet hooked up, so you can play friends games without even owning the games..
I know psn has been having some hiccups lately, but past week has been great for psn, and it even held up with cod advanced warfare release.. Oh and drive club. the online is trouble some but the single player is petty good fun imo.
enjoy your ps4, and if you want friends to compare scores in games like resogun, Zen pinball etc I'm fine with you adding me on psn Astondbr9 psn id.
I also play Destiny online , which is actually a decent game but isn't for everyone.

Great price for a really good game. Only positive about the GAME version is that as an exclusive it includes both pre-order DLC downloads. Not much but worth pointing out.
On the contrary, PS3 was still getting big titles long after MS abandoned their old console, those teams will now be working on the PS4 now and will be targeting a larger userbase instead of trying to rush low budget half assed launch titles to a small userbase.
PS4 will still be servicing the PS4 userbase long after MS abandons the Bone as well.

I was the same as you had never played TLOU and now easily class it as one of my best gaming experiences ever so definitely get that.
Knowing your a pc gamer im guessing you will hold out for GTA5 on PC but im not so strong willed and will be getting it on PS4
Also dont listen to all the negativity about Driveclub. Its an excellent racer and while the online is still flaky for me its still worth the asking price. I get connected every login now, can do MP races etc.
