Don't you get bored of writing walls of text?
Hold on a Minute, at no point in any of those responses to questions did Nvidia say GM200 was going to be 16nm or even 20nm, WFFC under lined "I’m excited about our next generation GPU"
How is that proof of 16nm or even 20nm?
I think this is more likely to be the 980TI (GM210). The 980 (GM204) is 400mm, GK110 (780/TI/Titan) is 550mm, Nvidia have 150mm in reserve to make up the 980TI on 28nm.

I don't think they would call it the 980 Ti seeing as it's based off a completely different chip, Just my guess.

Pretty sure there was a leaked document showing Apple and Nvidia using TSMC for 16NM chips with a release date of late 2014 early 2015 ?
Samsung are working on 14NM as well if I remember.
If the titan version shows up first this is the best value card to go for.
Like the original Titan which is still getting a lot of use for 4K the new Titan will be heavy on things like VRAM which will give it longevity. A Ti version will show up later that will be a lot cheaper but it will also have a shorter working life.
There is literally no new info here. WCCF are making up rubbish as usual based on 2 non-answers to questions about process tech. Pure speculation, babble and misdirection.
STOP POSTING WCCF

Longevity yes, Value? hell no!![]()
Guess that's a yes, far fewer words this time.
Edit: Bloody ninja, knew it.
Value too
The Titans are still the best option for 4K and this won't change with the launch of either 8gb 980s or 290Xs as the Titans are smoother than both of the other options 4 up.
They're good posts, not sure what your prob is tbh.
I'm still sticking to my prediction of £1200...![]()

Best option I can agree with, value for money, no. The Value option is to wait for a mainstream card![]()
