Where'd you source that wood from, any other pictures? Looks pretty stellar. Must steal.

Two pieces of 3m beech kitchen worktop from b and q £80 each. 4 legs from ikea for £10 each as they were the only good looking ones that were adjustable to a variety of sizes. 3 cable manage trays mounted under desk for £5 each from ikea. Some plained wood for fixing to the wall to then mount the back end of the desk on. Handlful of chrom cable gromits from from Amazon for pennies.

£225 I think it was for everything. Have a fair bit of the beech left for building shelves if I choose so in the future. Fairly expensive but considering it's a huge L shape with 2.7m length on one side and 2m length on the other it wasn't too bad.

Got closeup pictures of under/the back of the setup so I can see the fixings? I'm guessing you also cut out cable holes in the back since it is up against the wall?

Some close ups below, bear in mind I need to tidy up the cabling badly.

I mounted some plained wood into the wall (all masonry as external walls fortunately rather than plasterboard) with some deep screws. I then rested the back and sides on this and used some brackets to fasten it securely. I also used 2 T brackets to join the 2 pieces together in the middle.

To feed the cables through I cut 3 holes and used some metal cable grommets to make it look tidy =)
