Dragon Age:inquisition

That's what I did last gen and enjoyed it a lot better, need to get back to that method as at the moment I've got Sleeping Dogs, Alien, Wolf Amongst Us, Walking Dead season 2, Metro, Last of Us and Diablo 3 with Gta and Inquisition pre-ordered lol.

Well it was gong to be ac unity but the reports of ac unity running like dog poo with pop in as well, I think this game just went up the list and ac unity dropped off the list..

I was watching a few streams of it yesterday. To me AC just looked like exactly the same game again, I'm done with the franchise

Edit; oh and the game froze with over 1000 people watching it in the opening act.

I've decided to go Dragon age instead of ac unity, unity looks poor, Dragon age looks better in terms of value..

I loved the first dragon age, 2nd not so much, but this one looks and has reviewed well..

I think I may have been swayed in exactly the same direction!

Me too!

I never finished 1 but enjoyed what I did play (that mouse maze thing just wound me up so I quit there). I never played 2 because of all the bad reaction. Seems Bioware have taken the complaints on board and brought a lot of new things to the games, aswell. Can always Wiki the stories to chatch up if we need to.

I'm giving this a shot with those reviews. Finish FC4 first and trade it in for this.

I've just played the first 30 minutes of the game before work (6 hour EA Access trial). I had no interest in this game at all but I figured I'd give it a go, and it looks and plays amazingly well. I probably won't buy it yet as there's so much out at the moment, but I'll play the 6 hours and see how I get on. It really looks nice even on my crappy TV.

how to get ea access? x1 only?

Either pay monthly or pay one off £19 for a years sub. Defo worth it already as it has 5 or 6 full games on there which you'll own for being a member (fifa 14, bf, plants vs zombies, nfs and couple others)

I've stuck this on download this morning, nice 45gb download....

I really enjoyed Dragon age 1 but try as I might, Dragon age 2 just wasn't anywhere near as good and sadly at the time the witcher 2 over shadowed it for me, along with skyrim.

so if the reviews are accurate, and bioware must be confident in their game, then I'll be willing to try this..

It’s a surprisingly huge, dense world, and I soon realized there were still entire sandboxes I hadn’t even set foot in. Even in my hundredth hour, I’m still discovering.

That's from IGN.

I put over 60 hours into Demon's Souls and FFXIII - for me that is a hell of a long time to want to stay with a game. I just read that this can take up to 15 hours before you really start getting going. Sounds like a proper RPG to me and reading all those reviews has moved me from not very interested to very interested.
