Well done.

I won't be purchasing the song as I can't stand Geldof and already support Ebola victims elsewhere but I do applaud them for getting together to fight this horrible virus.
 
is it me or what about all these billions raised for people yet they mainly are still poor or have not got basics ? where is the money going.

Why do you 'hate' people who have lots of money and give their time to publicise worthy causes?
Is it jealousy or is there some reasoning behind your hatred?
So much so you maintain a top list of hate.
 
You could buy my mum the most expensive PC on OCUK and she'd still be unable to do the simplest things like resize a photo or actually reset her email password. No amount of money will change that because she is old and set in her ways. No amount of money will change the future of this disease because the virus changes and the local population will still eat bush meat and are stuck in their ways.

It's nice they want to do something and all but will it come to something - probably not.
 
I love it when multi-Millionaires in their Ivory Towers tell us plebs to give some of our hard earned money to those less fortunate than ourselves.
 
Geldof still hasnt explained how some african warlords and co eneded up with some of the last cash he raised, got very ****ed of when confronted with facts.

Its very difficult to see what is a stand up charitiy and one that exists to exsist, if gave to the dac appeal but you have no way of knowing where it really goes.
 
The site's very slim on information about how buying the song will stop the virus. I thought the measures already being taken in that area were working as intended?

What is the point of buying the song if you don't like it? If you want to donate money to charity, you can do that without having to buy this song.

Thanks, but I prefer not to stroke the egos of those attention seekers. I have other ways of contributing, ways which I know are 100% legit.
 
99p is an amount most can afford. For many, that goes for a fiver, maybe a tenner, maybe more. I'll gladly take a minute extra to contribute more and know that it actually helps.

I don't condemn these shows, as far as awareness is concerned they certainly help out but I can't help but think that this is 90% "oh my I'm helping people out look at me" and 10% "I'm helping these poor folks out, regardless of my public status".
 
I don't particularly want to stoke the egos of today's generation of 'musicians'. But if that's the best way to donate then so be it. Buy the song or don't buy the song. Just donate in whatever way you want.

But donate in some way.
