Peoples thoughts on last word and Thorn? I want an exotic hand cannon and currently have the bounty for Thorn but wondering it is just easier to buy the last word from Xur.
Hoping he sells Suros Regime again soon, I have one already but want to keep the fast rate of fire for PvP and have a fully upgraded one for PvE.

On PvP though, my use of Thorn is mental. I can get stupid amount of kills if I run conservatively as 2 to 3 shots, plus the lingering effect kills my target whilst I take cover after shots.
The last word has 2 more bullet and it fires as fast as you can pull and very stable with the right perk. So you can nail 3-5 kill shots quickly, and reload faster than Thorn, especially with Chain of Woe.
Get Last Word but still work on the bounty, then decide which you like.
I heart my thorn but I want TLW just so I can Robocop whenever I kill!

Thorn isn't good, it's due a buff in a future update. The Last Word is supposed to be quite good in PvP.
Add both to the collection, if you're anything like me your Thorn will gather dust.

Most of them, including Bungie forum, are filled with "earners" and moaners.
The gun no matter how good still needs good aim. The only gun I really see as OP is Suro on PvP, but even that can be countered by Thorn - as more often than not, I take out the Suros crit shotters post-mortem thanks to Lingering.

I am the only gamer in the department. AFAIK, I am the only addict on site (except for my Missus).
That's not so good. It's nice having a few of us here play as it makes raids and the crucible more enjoyable by talking about it the next day.
It's also nice rubbing my boss' face in it when he's wanted Icebreaker for weeks, and I got it as my first raid completion reward
I'm quite lucky as there are 5 of us from work that play this every night. One of our fireteams Dad also plays frequently so in theory we have a Raid team that can be organised at short notice.
Nice mix of characters as well. One who loves to stab anything that moves.... Her first experience of the Gorgon's maze will be..... fun!
Thought to myself last night that the next weapon on sale would be the last word just because I got it in a raid earlier this week, so this will now be the 4th week in a row that I won't have anything to spend coins on and I'm now up to 151 total (This number would be even higher if I wasn't spending it on telemetries etc).
They really need to add extra stuff to Xur such as buying materials for strange coins because that's something that you always need, something like 5-10 per strange coin, it would also cut down on all the farming BS.
